How to Backup and Restore the Registry in Windows 10

registry editor like on what we did in the backup process

search box, then type regedit, then press enter  Types regedit

 Types regedit to select the file that you want to restore from the backup
on the left side.
Doro: Next is to click yes if you are prompted by User
Account Control, just like this one. Doro: Make sure that it’s selected before proceeding.

is to select the file you want to backup on the left side.  Clicks Import
For example you want to backup the folder ‘font’ under
software on HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG Doro: Then, let’s select our file and click open.

Doro: Make sure that it’s selected before proceeding.  Selects File

Diega: That’s right, Doro. We need to go to File next and
click on Export Diega: Now, let’s wait until the import process is
complete.

 Clicks Export  Import process completed
Doro: Lastly, let’s restart our computer and log in back
on our Windows 10 computer.
 Diega and Doro goes back outside the screen.
Diega: Now, let’s see on the regedit if the file that we
back up and we deleted was back.
Doro: And look the folder ‘font’ that we backup was
backup.
