The table indicates the information regarding the percentage of seven functions which were used by cell
phone users in a developing nation from 2006 to 2010.

Overall, it is clear that the feature of make calls were used mostly while the functions of playing music and
recording video were the least essential for mobile phone owners during the past four years.

In 2006, all users had the requirement of making calls, and 66% and 73% people used cell phone to take
photos and text messages; however, only less than 20% owners used the device to play game or to play
music, and none of data about recording video and searching the internet.

From 2008 to 2010, the majority of owners, between 75% to 100%, also considered making calls, taking
photos and taxing messages were the main functions. However, the users of playing games and searching
the internet were increasing to 42%, even 73% for searching the internet. For playing music and recording
video, the users had steady raising from 9% to 35%.
