Research Problem:

(i) Difficulty in solving different problems in trigonometry of student if they are not familiar with
mathematical foundations (M Aminudin et al 2019)
(ii) Student can’t comprehend the usage of basic mathematical foundations in learning and solving
different trigonometry problems. (Dina Kamber & Djurdjica Takaci (2017)
(iii) Unable to state the error of process in solving trigonometry problems and related. (Arhin, J., & Hokor,
E. K. (2021)
(iv) The learning of student in solving trigonometric problem when applying, a diverse methods to tackling it
and found out that the learners have weak in problem solving abilities, Cause of this problem is that the
student give more attention on the textbook problem and exercise. ( Kin-Keung Poon (2012)

Significant of the Study:

This research paper will analyze the learning and teaching process using contextualized Outcome-Based Lesson
Exemplar (COBLEx) in studying trigonometry

III.) Is there’s significant relationship between Contextualized Outcome-Based Lesson Exemplar and the

Random high school student of Dinagat Islands taking trigonometry.


(12) Research Design (Indicate the appropriate research design to be employed in the study).

This mixed-methods exploratory case study examined different high schools within Dinagat Islands.
Quantitative survey data were collected to assess the application of Contextualized-
Outcome-Based Lesson Exemplar . Qualitative data were gathered through Focus
Group Discussion from educators and students within Dinagat Islands as a way to
better understand the diffusion and implementation.

(13) Target Beneficiaries (Who the clienteles are and what are the expected outcomes/effects of the use of the
project outputs).

Learner: This will help the learners to enhanced their capacity in learning trigonometry using Contextualized
Outcome-Based Lesson Exemplar.

Teachers: This will help the teachers to improve the quality in delivering the topic of trigonometry using
Contextualized Outcome-Based Lesson Exemplar.

Administrator : This research will help the administrator by giving them another technique in implementing a quality
education to their stakeholders
