PRESENTATION

A. Teaching Style: Discussion


Antistatic Devices are devices that reduce, dampen, or otherwise inhibit the build up or discharge of static electricity, which
can damage electrical components such as computer hard drives and memory chips.
1. Antistatic Wrist Strap is used to equalize the electrical charge between you and the equipment.
2. Antistatic Mat is laid on the workplace next or under the computer case and clip in the device to eliminate
electrostatic discharge.
3. Antistatic Bags are used for storing or securing electronic components which are prone to electrostatic discharge.
4. Antistatic garments/clothing is required to prevent damage to electrical components or prevent accidents in the
workplace.
5. Antistatic shoes are worn to prevent the accumulation of electricity on the floor.
