General Instructions for the Candidates

1. The candidates are advised to reach centre as per the time slot indicated against Reporting/ Entry
time in the admit card.
2. Candidates should note that no candidate will be allowed entry after the entry closing time in any
circumstance or due to any reason. Gates will be closed strictly at entry closing time.
3. Candidates should invariably bring the following at the time of reporting for the examination:
(a) Admission Certificate
(b) Two copies of their latest colored passport size photograph (3 cm x 3.5 cm).
(c) At least one valid photo bearing identity proof in ORIGINAL with clear photograph
(Eligible photo identity proofs such as 1. Passport, 2. Aadhaar Card/Print out of e-Aadhaar,
3. Driving License, 4. Service ID Card issued to employees by Central Govt./State Govt./
PSUs, 5. ID Card issued by University/College/School 6. Voter’s ID Card, 7. PAN Card, 8.
Ex-Servicemen Discharge Book issued by Ministry of Defence, 9. Any other Photo Identity
Proof issued by Central Govt./ State Govt.).
(d) If the Photo Identity Card does not contain the complete Date of Birth, then the candidate
must carry an additional original document having the Date of Birth as printed on the
Admission Certificate (e.g. Admit Card/ Pass Certificate/ Marks Sheet of 10th Class issued
only by CBSE/ ICSE/ State Boards; Birth Certificate, Category Certificate etc. issued only by
Central Govt. / State Govt. / PSUs). In case of a mismatch in the Date of Birth
mentioned in the Admission Certificate and Photo ID Proof/ the Certificate
brought in support of Date of Birth, the candidate will not be allowed to appear in
the examination.
4. No candidate will be allowed to leave the examination lab before the completion of the examination
time for any reason without permission from the exam Functionaries. Once a candidate leaves the
lab without the permission of the exam functionaries, he/she shall not be allowed to re-enter the
examination lab and his/her candidature shall be cancelled.
5. Candidates shall be permitted to appear in the exam only at the venue as specified in the
Admission Certificate.
6. Candidates are advised to visit the exam venue at least one day in advance so that they can reach
the examination venue on the date of exam in time.
7. Candidates must ensure that they do not appear in the examination more than once. Otherwise
candidature of such candidates would be cancelled and appropriate action will be taken against
them.
8. Candidature of candidates is purely provisional. It is advised that candidates should satisfy
themselves that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions. If at any stage, it is found that a candidate
does not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions, his/her candidature shall be cancelled.
9. Prohibited items such as watches, books, pens, paper chits, magazines, electronic gadgets (mobile
phones, Bluetooth devices, head phones, pen/ buttonhole/ spy cameras, scanner, calculator,
storage devices etc) are strictly not allowed in the examination lab. If any such item is found in the
possession of a candidate in the examination lab, his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled
and legal/criminal proceedings could be initiated against him/her. He/she would also be liable to be
debarred from appearing in future examinations of the Commission as per extant rules.
10. Candidates should avoid wearing items like nose pins, bracelets, earrings, charms, kadas etc. In
case, religion/ customs require candidates to wear specific attire, the frisking may take more time
and therefore candidates should report at the venue of examination early.
11. Candidates are advised not to bring bags and prohibited items into the examination venue. In case
they bring any such item, they would have to make their own arrangements for safe custody of
such items. The Commission will not be liable to make any arrangement for safe custody of any
such item.
12. Pen and paper for rough work would be provided in the examination lab.
13. All Exam Labs are under Video Surveillance.
14. Electronic watch (timer) will be available on the computer screen allotted to candidates.
15. Candidate should ensure that they do not indulge in any unfair means and shall also not talk to
each other after commencement of the exam and during its entire duration.
16. Candidate shall have to undergo the process of contactless Frisking through Handheld Metal
Detector (HHMD).
17. Candidate must strictly abide by the instructions given by the Exam Functionaries (Centre
 Supervisor / Invigilator, etc).
18. Candidate should ensure that they provide clear Left Thumb Impression (LTI), Certification
Statement in their running handwriting and signature on Commission’s Copy of Admission
Certificate taking necessary precautions against Covid-19.
19. If any candidate is found obstructing the conduct of the examination or creating disturbances at
the examination venue, his/her candidature shall be summarily cancelled. Such candidate shall
also be liable to be debarred from future examinations of the Commission and legal/criminal
proceedings could be initiated against him/her. It may be noted that no re-examination would be
conducted if it is found that the examination was disrupted on account of instigation by the
candidates.
20. If the examination does not commence at the scheduled time or is interrupted midway due to any
technical snag or for any other reason, candidates should follow the instructions of the exam
functionaries. They may have to wait patiently till the issue is suitably addressed and resolved. The
Commission would take an appropriate action and decision in the matter which would be final and
would be binding on candidates in case the exam could not be completed.
21. Candidates are assured that in case of disruption of examination for any reason such as
major/minor technical snag or slow speed of server/breakdown of server etc., they will not, under
any circumstances, lose the examination time to which they are entitled.
22. Candidates are advised to report to the concerned Regional Office/ Commission, in case they notice
any irregularity during conduct of examination. The identity of such candidates will be kept
confidential.
23. Eligible PwD candidates are entitled for compensatory time of 20 minutes per hours and assistance of
scribe.
24. PwD candidates, other than those affected by blindness and cerebral palsy, who have opted for the
facility of scribe a nd/or Compensatory time in their application form are required to produce
certificate as per Annexure-1 of the Notice of Examination for availing the facility of scribe.
25. Candidates opting for own scribe, the qualification of the scribe should be one step below the
qualification of the candidate taking the examination. Such candidates shall be required to submit
details of the own scribe in proforma at Annexure-II of the Notice of Examination. In addition, the scribe
has to produce a valid ID proof (as per list given at Para-3) in original. A photocopy of the ID proof of
the scribe signed by the candidate as well as the scribe is required to be submitted along with proforma
at Annexure-II.
26. Scribe arranged by the PwD candidate should not be a candidate of this examination otherwise
candidatures of both the candidates will be cancelled.
27. One eyed candidates and partially blind candidates, who are able to read the normal Question
Paper set with or without magnifying glass and who wish to write/indicate the answer with the help
of magnifying glass, will be allowed to use the same in the Examination Hall and will not be
entitled to a Scribe. Such candidates will have to bring their own Magnifying Glass to the
Examination Hall.

28. If any candidate is found in inebriated state that candidate will not be allowed entry to the venue.

29. In case of any doubt or clarification, the candidates are advised to contact the concerned Regional
Office of the Commission personally or through the Helpline Numbers as indicated in the Admission
Certificate.

.2 -द क कसी भी प रि थित म या कसी भी कारण से वेश अ यथ यानसमय के बाद कसी भी अ यथ को वेश
करने क अनुमित नह दी जाएगी। वेश-समय के बाद गेट को स ती से बंद कर दया जाएगा।
.3 अ यथ परी ा के िलए रपो टग के समयसदैव िन िलिखत अपने साथ लाएं :

(घ) य द फोटो पहचान प पर पूण ज मितिथ अं कत नह है, तो उ मीदवार को अपनी ज म-ितिथ के सा य के पम
एक अित र मूल द तावेज लाना होगा िजसम ज म ितिथ वही हो जो वेश-प म अं कत है (जैस-े
सीबीएसई/आईसीएसई/रा य बोड ारा जारी 10व क ा का वेशप /पास माण-प /अंक-प ; ज म माण-
प , ेणी माण-प ) । य द वेश माण-प म उि लिखत ज म ितिथ और ज मितिथ के समथन म लाए गए
फोटो पहचान प / माण प मेल नह खाते ह तो अ यथ को परी ा म बैठने क अनुमित नह दी जाएगी।

.4 परी ा अिधका रय क अनुमित के िबना कसी भी अ यथ को कसी भी कारण से परी ा समा होने के समय से
पहले परी ा लैब को छोड़ने क अनुमित नह दी जाएगी। य द अ यथ परी ा अिधका रय क अनुमित के िबना लैब
छोड़ देता है, तो उसे परी ा लैब म फर से वेश करने क अनुमित नह दी जाएगी और उसक अ य थता र कर दी
जाएगी।
.5 अ य थय को वेश माणप म िन द थल पर ही परी ा म बैठने क अनुमित होगी।
.6 अ य थय को सलाह दी जाती है क वे कम से कम एक दन पहले परी ा थल पर जाएं ता क वे परी ा क तारीख को
समय पर परी ा थल पर प चं सक।
7. अ य थय को यह सुिनि त कर लेना चािहए क वे एक से अिधक बार परी ा म उपि थत न ह । अ यथा ऐसे
अ य थय क अ य थता र कर दी जाएगी और उनके िखलाफ उिचत कारवाई क जाएगी ।

.8 अ य थय क अ य थता िवशु प से अनंितम है। यह सलाह दी जाती है क अ यथ वयं को संतु कर ल क वे

सभी पा ता शत को पूरा करते ह। य द कसी भी तर पर, यह पाया जाता है क कोई अ यथ पा ता शत म से
कसी भी शत को पूरा नह करता है, तो उसक अ य थता र कर दी जाएगी।
.9 परी ा लैब म िनषि◌ व तुए,ं जैसे -घड़ी, कताब, पेन, पेपर िचट, पि काएं, इले ॉिनक गैजे स मोबाइल फोन),
लूटूथ िडवाइस, हेड फोन, पेन पाई कै मरा / बटनहोल /, कै नर, कै लकु लेटर, टोरे ज िडवाइस आ दलाने क स त (
 मनाही है। । य द परी ा लैब म कसी अ यथ के पास ऐसी कोई व तु पाई जाती है, तो उसक अ य थता र क जा
सकती है और उसके िखलाफ कानूनी आपरािधक कायवाही शु क जा सकती है। / मौजूदा िनयम के अनुसार, वह
भिव य म आयोग क आयोिजत होने वाली परी ा म उपि थत होने से वंिचत होने के िलए उ रदायी होगा/होगी ।
.10 अ य थय को नोज़-िपन, कं गन, झुमके , चा स (charms), कड़ा आ द जैसी व तु को पहनने से बचना चािहए । य द
कसी ि को धम/रीित रवाज के कारण िविश पोशाक पहनने क आव यकता होती है-, तो उनक तलाशी म
अिधक समय लग सकता है और इसिलए अ य थय को परी ा थल पर ज दी रपोट करना चािहए।
.11 अ य थय को सलाह दी जाती है क वे परी ा थल म बैग और िनिष व तुएं न लाएं । य द वे ऐसी कोई भी व तु
लाते ह, तो उ ह ऐसी व तु क सुर ा के िलए वयं व था करनी होगी। आयोग ऐसी कसी भी व तु क अिभर ा
के िलए कोई व था करने के िलए उ रदायी नह होगा।
.12 रफ़ काय के िलए पेन और पेपर परी ा लैब म दए जाएंगे।
.13 सभी परी ा लै स वीिडयो िनगरानी के अधीन ह ।
.14 अ य थय को दी गई कं यूटर न पर इले ॉिनक घड़ी (टाइमर) उपल ध रहेगी
.15 अ यथ सुिनि त कर ल क वे कसी भी अनुिचत साधन का योग न कर और परी ा शु होने पर और इसक पूरी
अविध के दौरान एक दूसरे से बात नह कर।
.16 अ यथ को ह त संचािलत मेटल िडटे टर एचएचएमडी)) के ज रए संपक रिहत तलाशी क या से गुजरना होगा।
.17 अ यथ को परी ा अिधका रय )क पयवे क/परी क आ द ारा दए गए िनदश का कड़ाई से पालन करना (
चािहए।
.18 अ यथ को कोिवड-19 को यान म रखते ए आव यक सावधानी बरतते ए वेशप क आयोग क ितिलिप पर

.19 य द कोई अ यथ परी ा के आयोजन म बाधा उ प करता है या परी ा थल पर गड़बड़ी करता है, तो उसक
अ य थता र कर दी जाएगी। इस कार का अ यथ आयोग क भावी परी ा से वंिचत होने के िलए भी उ रदायी
होगा और उसके िखलाफ कानूनीआपरािधक कायवाही शु क जा सकती है।/ यान दया जाए क य द यह पाया जाता
है क अ य थय के उकसाने के कारण परी ा म वधान आ, तो परी ा दोबारा आयोिजत नह क जाएगी।
.20 य द कसी तकनीक खराबी के कारण या कसी अ य कारण से परी ा िनधा रत समय पर शु नह होती है या बीच म
बािधत होती है, तो अ य थय को परी ा अिधका रय के िनदश का पालन करना चािहए। सम या का समाधान होने
तक उ ह धैयपूवक ती ा करनी पड़ सकती है। य द परी ा पूरी नह होती है तो आयोग उ मामले म उिचत कारवाई
करे गा व िनणय लेगा और उसका िनणय अंितम होगा एवं अ य थय के िलए बा यकारी होगा।
.21 अ य थय को आ ासन दया जाता है क कसी भी कारण से परी ा म वधान, जैसे -मु य/मामूली तकनीक बाधा
या सवर क धीमी गित सवर का संपक न रहना आ द /होने क ि थित म उनके परी ा के समय क कसी कार क
हािन नह होगी, िजसके वे हकदार ह।
.22 अ य थय को सलाह दी जाती है क य द उ ह परी ा के दौरान कोई अिनयिमतता दखाई देती है तो वे संबंिधत े ीय
कायालय आयोग को /इसक सूचना द । ऐसे अ य थय क पहचान गोपनीय रखी जाएगी।
.23 िमनट के पूरक समय और िलिपक क सहायता के हकदार ह। 20 अ यथ ित घंटे . द.पा शा

.25 य द अ यथ अपने िलिपक का िवक प देता है तो िलिपक क यो यता, परी ा दे रहे अ यथ क यो यता से एक
तर नीचे होनी चािहए । अपने िलिपक के िलए िवक प दे रहे अ य थय को अनुबध
ं -II पर दए गए ोफामा के
अनुसार परी ा देने के समय अपने िलिपक के योरे तुत करना अपेि त होगा । इसके अलावा िलिपक को परी ा
के समय अपने वैध पहचान माणप क त करनी होगी ।मूल ित तु (पर दी गई सूची के अनुसार 3 पैरा)अनुबध

.26 अ यथ ारा वि थत िलिपक को इस परी ा का अ यथ नह होना चािहए . द.शा, अ यथा दोन अ य थय क
अ य थता र कर दी जाएगी।

.27 एका -अ यथ और आ शक प से दृि हीन ि जो आवधक लस से या उसके िबना सामा य (एक आंख वाला)
पढ़ सकते ह और आवधक लस क सहायता से उ र अं कत करना चाहते है, उ ह परी ा क म आवधक लस का
योग करने क अनुमित होगी और उ ह िलिपक क सुिवधा लेने का हक नह होगा। ऐसे अ य थय को परी ा क म
अपना आवधक लस लाना होगा।

.28 य द कोई अ यथ नशे क हालत म पाया जाता है तो उसे परी ा थल म वेश क अनुमित नह दी जाएगी।
29. अ य थय को सलाह दी जाती है क कसी भी संदह
े या प ीकरण के मामले म वे आयोग के संबंिधत े ीय कायालय
से ि गत प से या वेशप म दशाए गए हे पलाइन नंबर के मा यम से संपक कर।-
