“Despite everything, it’s still you”

Idea 1:
World around character has stopped at climatical points
Constant camera angle, doesn’t change, camera moving backward while character moves forward?
World around character stopped in time, character can move in stopped time, symbolizes
peace/comfort (coffee spilled, man falling off ladder, etc)
Deeper meaning could be that everything just needs to slow down and take a breather, everybody is
too caught up in their own problems to just let go for a moment.
Use powerful quotes from different pieces of media: songs, films, news broadcasts, magazines,
videogames.
Video starts off with timer counting up, video ends with that same timer seconds before what it was
at the start of the video to make it loop.

Idea 2:
Similar to that of “Hopecore” on TikTok
Compilation of many memorable moments throughout humanity’s existence.
Include pivotal moments in history, have this idea of everybody coming together to revel in the
wonderous feats they have accomplished (women being able to vote, Martin Luther King’s speech.)
Show what hardships people have grown from (9/11, prejudice against things we cannot change
about ourselves, etc.)
Show clips of people dealing with their own small problems to show how everybody is in the same
boat and humanity is all intertwined (almost missing the bus, submitting work right before the
deadline, etc.)
Video starts with a piece of Martin Luther King’s speech, ends with the beginning of that same piece
of the speech to make it loop.

Idea 3:
Young man gets broken up with his girlfriend, show his memories of her, how much he
loved and cared for her.
Make breaking up with somebody you truly loved something that can be grown from, something that
can be looked back at, NOT something that has to negatively affect you.
Show young man stood in a serene location (forest, beach?) looking at his phone and message pops
up about girlfriend wanting to break up.
Show the good memories of their relationship, show laughter, love, happiness. Show memories that
you’d want to remember from a relationship.
Stargazing, cooking together, watching films together, etc.
Nearer the end of the video, cut off any music and just have ambient sound. Show man standing
staring out at something truly beautiful (sunset, moonlight) to show how he is reflecting on this
news.
Start the video with a young man looking at his phone, show message coming through about the
breakup, end the video where he looks at his phone again and the message come through, this will
be the loop.
Idea 4:
Love being a universal thing, though it is intangible, it can be felt on such a level that it
makes it seem as if it is really there.
Highlight the importance of letting love into your life
Show clips of families coming together, lovers meeting, friends spending time together, people all
somehow intertwined one way or another.
Show different versions of love: Family, friendship, true love, etc.
Give a scenario where no matter how much life gets you down, no matter how the odds are placed
against you, no matter how cruel the universe is to you, always let love in and give love out.
Have a beating heart at the start of the video, end video with a fade in of the heart to create a loop.

Idea 5:
Everybody having their own “colour” and that makes them unique (basically boiling down
defining characteristics to a colour.)
Narrative built off of a small variety of extremely short stories. Young man meeting with
friends, couple on a date, sad looking man on his own until a stranger chats with him.
Each person has an aura of colour surrounding their body to represent their
characteristics/who they are.
As the people come together to see each other, their colours merge and change to be a mix
of the two (this is done to represent how one person or a group of people can influence
what you are like.)
Idea based on how being with people is a lot better than being alone (shown mainly
through the story of the sad man on his own.)
Could also represent love.
Have solid black at the start, all colours converge to create a black colour that fills the screen
near the end. This is the loop.
