    A referral audit was conducted on September 2022. 20 cases were referred out for reasons such as high risk consent not given, placenta previa, and blood products not available. 180 cases were referred in, most commonly for previous C-sections, severe anemia, and preeclampsia. The total labor room admissions were 1260. The percentage of referred out cases was 1.59% and referred in cases was 14.29%. Gaps in reducing waiting time for C-sections and availability of blood products were identified. Actions taken included increasing OT staff, running two OTs simultaneously, and tying up with blood banks for accessible blood products.

    Repeat counselling to gain patient confidence and reduce refferal
    Availability of FFP , PRP and Cryoprecipitate .

    Action taken Increased staff in OT at each shift from 1 to 2 along with group D posting 2 each shift
    Gynecologist to run 2 OT simultaneously day time from 9am - 4pm
    Tie up with BLDEA blood bank and Pvt Blood bank for arrangement of blood products in concession rate .
