1. Mental health is becoming a busy thing in the current situation. Many Indonesian
teenagers and children are depressed as a result of things that are happening around them,
such as domestic violence, bullying at school, genetic factors, hormonal changes, or
traumatic experiences such as sexual and emotional harassment, or the loss of a loved
one.

Depression can be preceded by anxiety disorders.

Anxiety disorders are the most common due to the failure of adolescents to regulate anxiety and
stress; if left unchecked, this condition can develop into a depressive phase.

Not to mention the new social environment, the wider circle of friends, the increasingly
demanding demands on education or career, and the different cultures that cause culture shock.
They are sometimes faced with various problems and conflicts, both with family and friends and
with teachers or lecturers, and so on.

One example is the suicide case of a new student on a campus in Yogyakarta in early October,
which could be an indication that teenagers are now quite vulnerable to mental health. In the
news circulating, the cause of his suicide was due to stress due to college assignments.

Thus, depression in children and adolescents in Indonesia still cannot be handled properly by the
state.

2. Until now, I may have seen only a few people who were experiencing symptoms or signs of
depression.
However, I could have seen people on my social media who were experiencing symptoms or
signs of depression. They are sad, depressed, disappointed, their hearts are empty, the look in
their eyes indicates that they are not well, hopeless, have no enthusiasm for life until they
consider suicide, mood swings, appear to be people who don't sleep, and their aura is more
dominant to negative.

Maybe I don't understand how they feel when they're depressed, but here are some things they
could try if they don't want to seek professional help:
1. Exercise on a regular basis, even if it is light exercise.
2. Make it a habit to eat and sleep on a regular basis.
3. Get out of the house and talk to family or neighbors.
4. What types of activities do you enjoy doing?
5. command the mind

6. tell people you love and trust them

7. Worship according to each other's beliefs and begin loving and accepting yourself.
