How would you assess yourself? Are you an effective or an efficient student?

I believe that I am both an effective and an efficient student, the intensity of both qualities
depends on the position that I am in. If I were to choose what weighs more, I will immediately
pick being effective.

Efficiency might be beneficial, but it can also serve as a distraction from our primary objectives.
It's one thing to be efficient, but if it's not helping us or our group's goals, it's pointless.

There's always a process to know before I become efficient at something. It goes like this:

First, I'll do something in an effective manner. Second, I'll make a way for it to be done
efficiently. Next is to test whether being efficient is benefiting me. Lastly, I repeat the process.
This process works whatever I'm trying to do, may it be assignments or agendas.

A better way to explain this is by an example. My main goal is to get high marks at the end of
the year. When being efficient first, my sub-goal will be to focus on accomplishing the given
tasks in a much faster way with satisfactory outputs (because there is only minimum effort
given). Which fogs my main goal which is getting high marks.

Being effective first not only focuses on producing the best outcomes, but also knowing the right
goals to accomplish. Since I know that the main goal is having high marks, making every point
count will be my sub-goal. After that, I can then easily create an efficient way to accomplish my
sub-goal.
