Easy Essay

Apply the proper procedure to the given situation.

Situation 1: After a strong earthquake, you see many victims wounded from
falling objects. Some are conscious. Some are not.
- I will provide them their needs and comfort them advising them to
keep calm. I’ll use clean cloth if available. If the person is not
breathing, then I will administer rescue breathing. If a person has no
pulse, I’ll begin CPR. I will not move the person too seriously if he or
she is injured unless they are immediate danger of further injury

Situation 2: After a fire incident in your school, you see your classmates lying
down at the bottom of the stairs. Some are crying. Others are shocked.
- I would comfort them and help them to get out and tell them to be
careful. I will check if they have injury and if they have, I will lay the
person down and elevate the legs and feet slightly, unless I think this
may cause pain or further injury, I'll Keep the person still and won't
move him or her unless necessary. I will only Begin CPR if the person
shows no signs of life, such as not breathing, coughing, or moving

Situation 3: Your two siblings, who were playing with your neighbors under a very
hot temperature, suddenly fainted.
- I will Lay the person on his or her back and make sure that they are
breathing. If possible, I will lift the person's legs above heart level to
aid blood flow to the brain and then loosen all constrictive clothing
such as collars and belts. If the person is not breathing, then I will
start CPR and get someone to call 911. I will continue doing it until
help arrives. And lastly when the person regains consciousness, I will
let them rest rather than to sit up or get up immediately
