Task 1:

The given line chart illustrates the cotton production by five nations, namely China,

the United States, India, Brazil, and Pakistan, over a 15-year period from 2004 to 2018.

Overall, China had the highest production of cotton most of the time within the

period, while Brazil displayed an opposite trend.

China's cotton production began at 30 million bales in 2004, and it rose dramatically

to 36 million bales in the following four years. However, it fell again to 30 million bales, then

slightly increased. In contrast, the United States' cotton output decreased significantly from

2004 to 2008, with fluctuations between 12 and 17 million bales in the next eight years, and

finally increased again to 20 million bales.

India's cotton manufacture gradually increased from 2004 to 2013, reaching its peak

during this period. After that, production declined from 2013 to 2015 and slightly increased

again. In 2004, Brazil's production was just over 10 million bales, which remained steady

over the next ten years, but declined slightly to just under 10 million bales in 2018. Pakistan's

cotton production was 6 million bales in 2004, which doubled to 12 million bales in 2018.

Task 2:

In the digital age, the internet serves as a crucial platform for communication, sharing

information and expressing opinions, sparking a debate over the freedom of expression

online. While some advocate for unlimited freedom, others argue for limits on what people

can say online.

On one hand, those who support unlimited freedom of expression on the internet

argue that it is a basic human right that should be unrestricted. They believe that people

should have have the liberty to express their viewpoints without limitations. Additionally, the
internet provides a global platform for individuals to share their ideas and connect with others

from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Therefore, limiting free expression would impede the

free flow of information and constitute a breach of human rights.

On the other hand, those who support the idea of limits on free expression online

argue that ertain opinions can be harmful to individuals and society. Hate speech,

cyberbullying, and extremist content, for instance, can incite violence and radicalization,

resulting in discrimination. Governments and website owners have a responsibility to

safeguard their citizens from such content by restricting what people can express online.

Furthermore, the internet should be governed by the same regulations as other areas of

society since it is not a lawless space.

In conclusion, I believe that people should have the freedom to express their opinions,

but it should not infringe on the rights of others. Hate speech and incitement to violence

should not be allowed, and measures should be taken to prevent cyberbullying and other

forms of harmful content. At the same time, governments and website owners should exercise

caution in imposing restrictions to ensure that they do not become a tool for censorship or

suppression of dissenting views.
