Everything starts with planning just like a how structures are carefully planned and designed by
architects before it was built. Something that is carefully planned will most likely be successful. As an
aspiring architect of chosen profession, it is significant for us to foresee the value of pre-construction
planning (precon). For the project to operate smoothly and avoid extra cost, save time, and workforce
pre-construction meeting must be conducted before implementing the project.

Pre-construction meetings are an excellent way to ensure that all components of the project are
properly understood prior to the start of execution operations. The ideas and tactics may be properly
shared and comprehended by the whole project team. Precon is fundamentally important in the
building business, notably in construction organizations. While we may standardize building procedures
in operational projects, there are no identical projects, thus each new project requires a pre-
construction meeting. A pre-construction meeting's main purpose is to describe the project's procedures
and intended final outcome. Ensure that everyone understands their position and duties throughout the
process. And, as a team comprised of diverse members and labor, it will function as the project's initial
startup. It serves as a guide from the beginning to the finish of the project. It starts with establishing all
team members' roles and responsibilities, as well as all building methods needed to complete the task.
Once all parties involved understand their roles, a thorough discussion concerning communication,
coordination, and scheduling issues takes place. Mutual understanding is required for productive
construction collaborations, which should be fostered in order to create a good work atmosphere.
Keeping everyone participating in a project on the same page, on the other hand, is a challenging task.

Given the possibility of many difficulties arising throughout the completion of a construction project,
conducting a run over with the relevant parties engaged in the different procedures ensures the
accomplishment of the project. Its advantages include the removal of numerous uncertain factors that
may affect the project for the clients benefit, providing a clear image of exactly how the project will
resemble and how it will be completed, the timeframe for the work can be appraised, and the
contractor has the chance to provide cost friendly  strategies. Identifying and properly recording the
project's starting point. The capacity to anticipate scheduling issues, longer delivery materials, as well as
other material essential for the project's efficient progress. A detailed knowledge of how choices will be
addressed, including time frames and who has power to make certain judgments. The capacity to design
a detailed project timeline that describes each project activity, including when each task must be
completed and the important pathways of each process. Early conflict settlement helps to prevent costly
reworks and change orders. The ability to have constructive conversations about any issues raised
by leaders as well as other implementing team members. Assessing every conceivable circumstance in
advance offers the client confidence that the team they are collaborating with is knowledgeable.
Establishing specific plans aids in preventing problems during the projects progress. Resulting to a  major
boon for everyone.
