They are transferring messages of source

So, what are the
differences?

Translators' responsibility translate the
written text, so they need a text book, a
dictionary, and a computer.

While, interpreters have to interpret the

target language by spoken words, so they
need a microphone, a headphone, also a
pen and a notebook.

Translators work in a deadline, so they
must have a high accuracy of the
translation.

While, interpreters do not have a deadline,

they work in a real time, so there is no high
accuracy of the translation. They focus to
interpret the meaning not the translate.

Translators must have a reading and a
writing ability, also a critical thinking to find
the exact meaning from the target language.

Interpreters must have the ability to listen,

have a great public speaking, and fast
thinking.
