addressed a Letter to him acknowledging
the same in the most grateful manner
which they desire the favour of being

forwarded in your Lordships next Dispatch


a Copy of it is enclosed for your Lordship
Information
Your Lordship will be pleased to

observe by the said Letter, That the Bashau


of Bagdat is answerable for the large Clai
upon the Estate of Hodjee Eusoph at Bussorat
as he caused him to be cutt off and took
Possession of all his Estate and Effects; the
Court of Directors therefore humbly desire
Your Lordship will recommend it to Mr

Grenville, to use his best Endeavours at the


Porte to procure that Debt to be paid to the
Companys Agents at Bussorah, by taking
such Measures as His Excellency upon
considering all Circumstances shall judge
most for the Interest of the Company
