INTRODUCTION AND VALUES INTEGRATION

Embarking on the real world of teaching would require anyone to have a


mastery of the teaching approaches. This module will help you navigate the role of
the major teaching approaches in Values Education. These present the vital role of
appropriating the best approach in a particular situation.

This module further reiterates, that, actualizing the mission of the university is
embodying the sensibility to select, prepare and utilize the best teaching approach.
It goes with making sense of the world. It now becomes as the great step to
determine how humanity will be served with relevance, excellence, and
accountability. Power comes from the critical awareness of each learner on any
pressing issue or problem in the society in general and in academic institution, in
particular so appropriation of the best teaching approach is so vital. The succeeding
modules will present all these.

You are a Wesleyanian, a Values Educator very soon, with tremendous


capacity to apply both godliness and brilliance, you have the great ability to
contribute to make this world a better one.

Journal Writing

SUMMARY/CONCLUSION

We have seen how powerful teaching approaches are, their power lies on the
conscientious efforts of the Values Educator to learn, select and utilize the best

discovering each approach.
