 What are ethics? Moral? Laws? Provide examples for each.

 Ethics- are moral principles that govern a person’s behaviour or the
conducting activity. And they consist Integrity, values, honour, rights
e.c.t. An Example of ethics is the code of conduct by a business.
 Morals- are principles on which one’s judgment of right and wrong
are based and are influenced by society, culture, and religion. And
they consist Truth, Courage, Integrity, Loyal e.c.t. An example is the
commandment
 Laws- are rules that are created and enforced through social or
governmental institution to regulate behaviour. And an Example
don’t drink and drive.

 Can Laws be unethical?

 Yes, Because the are unethical laws that restricts or prevent
someone/ an organisation to do something good or right. For
Example, refusing to honour a warranty claims on a defective
product.
 Can they be Immoral?
 No, they are not the same so you can not equate the two. Just
because something is immoral does not make it lawful.

 Can an unethical action be legal? Give your reason and provide

examples.
 Yes and No, and why? “Unethical” defines as something that is
morally wrong while something being “legal” means it is
connected to the law or government’s system of rules. An
unethical deed may be against morality but not against the law.
An illegal deed is always unethical while an unethical action may
or may not be illegal. For example, an unethical decision that is
not illegal would be lying to your friends. A legal decision can also
be an unethical one because you can do lots of things, like bribe or
lie, however those things are not illegal unless performed on an
officer or person of law.
