In our surroundings, threat is everywhere and anytime it may happen.

As a youth, I
have a capability to avoid some kind of internal and external threats even in a simple thing I
could do. For instance, the Severe Calamities and Persistent Environment Degradation are the
example of internal threats and it is somehow related to each other when it comes to the factors
of it that can cause too much than expected to happen. The pollution is one of the factors why
these two are threats to us that leads into loss of biodiversity because of the illegal and human
activities to the surroundings. Being a youth has a responsibility to maintain the development of
individual and having enough knowledge how to address those problems is a great help. I can
help to avoid the pollution by simply doing a simple act such as the proper disposal of garbage
and sharing my thoughts to others especially to my brothers and cousins so that they will know
the importance of it as young as them.

On the other hand, there is also a threat regarding the Religious Conflict that falls
under the external threat. There are a lot of religions around the Philippines that is why we have
our own beliefs and perspective of life especially when it is about our Almighty God. As a youth,
I will become more wide minded when it comes to these topic to avoid misunderstanding and
misinformation. Since we have a different beliefs and perspective, it is hard to argue with each
other for what they are fighting for because of their ego and pride. The Disparity between Rich
and Poor Nation is also an example of external threat and the instance of it is when some skilled
people here in the Philippines is more prefer to work abroad because of the high wages and
salaries compared here in the our country. Another instance of it is there is a discrimination
between rich and poor people in the country wherein most of the rich people has a lot of
privilege and opportunity when it comes to their attained education while the poor people has
less. But it is not what I meant that poor people will have a less opportunity for their success
because I, also comes from poor family but I will do my best to be part of successful individual
through my hardships and efforts.
