Topic – Do young people’s behavior better or worse than it was years ago?

The Better Youth

Youth are known as the future of our country, if comparison is done between today’s youth and past
youth, we will find a difference between past and future youth. Today’s youth are more advance and
developed from the past youth use to be. I believe that young people in this generation are way better
than it was years ago. Young people nowadays are becoming spontaneous day by day. Back in the past
teenagers was not that independent. They had restriction for almost everything. But nowadays
teenagers are pretty independent and they have freedom to experience many things and that's why
they are learning how to lead a life. Most of the teenagers are now conscious about their life and future.
They are very developed technologically today. So, in my opinion not every teenager's or young people
are worse nowadays.

The society thinks that the young people are the worse. But that’s not true. Actually, today’s youth are a
bit of egoistic not arrogant. And they are quite straightforward and communist. Because of having such
qualities the youth are being considered the worse. But being straight-forward and communist or
protestor isn’t a bad thing at all. Elders think that young people of ancient times were more polite than
modern youth. Today’s youth is completely different from the old ones because they have the freedom
and opportunity to talk and bring out their thoughts in front of everyone/

In general, they’re better educated – a factor tied to employment and financial well-being – but there is
a sharp divide between the economic fortunes of those who have a college education and those who
don’t. Again in the past teenage didn’t get enough opportunity to express themselves as they wanted to
be. We are getting more opportunities and platforms. And the main thing is that we can protest against
any crime more effectively than before. We are the future. We are not captive at all to take any kind of
actions which are fair for the era. Whereas the past teenage used to tolerate those without saying
anything. So I think today’s youth are not that worse than ever. At least they have sympathy and
morality against any kinds of crimes no matter how arrogant and impatient they are.

I think that teenagers today more intelligent and active, they care about global issues and propose many
great solutions. Statistics showed that 46% teenagers cherish an burning ambition to change the world
while adults admitted that when they were younger, they weren't aware of that .

Everything is changing according to our environment and generation. I think youths are more impatient
than before because of the technological development around them but they are not worse as many
people assume. Things are not as bad as they look. We are the generation with an opinion and a will.
We are not as dictated by convention as our parents were. We are successfully abandoning “the what
will people think” syndrome to do what makes us happy.
All evolutionary evidence indicates that humans are becoming smarter, faster to adapt, adjust, think and
act more efficiently. Some of it is need driven, like competition for resources, but we do learn from our
ancestors and build upon that knowledge to pass on to the next generation.

This may not take place at the same level in all societies across the globe, but in an increasingly
interconnected world, it genuinely pays to be aware, get smarter, and be able to act with enterprise. Is
this "talent" of some sort? I do not know for sure, but younger people today are definitely pushing the
envelope in a lot of human societies.

With a new found sense of independence, younger people appear to be less responsible, less inward
focused, and even selfish. But younger people also have stepped up to face all kinds of social,
environmental, and other issues. I wish they would get enough credit for caring so much at such a young
age.
