The diagram shows how clothes are made from reused plastic bottles. Looking from an
overall respective, the process can be divided into 3 main stages, firstly involving the
collection, transportation, and sorting of bottles, followed by cleaning and treating, and
finally the actual production of clothes.
In the first stage, plastic bottles of all sizes are collected and then transported to the factories.
After that, they are sorted and placed in a machine, which cuts them into smaller pieces.
These pieces are then washed and left dried under the sun.
In the transformative stage, the dried pieces are boiled before being strained. After having
been strained, the resulting byproduct becomes yarn, being ready to be woven into fabric.
Lastly, the finished rolls of material are used in the fabrication of clothing.
