Greta Thunberg

change activist. She was recently nominated for a Nobel Prize for a third year in a
row. The teen ----------(to challenge) world leaders to take immediate action for
climate change mitigation.
Thunberg ----------(to think) that humanity ----------(to face) an existential crisis because of
global warming and ----------(to hold) the current generation of adults responsible for creating
the problem. She ----------(to use) terms such as "our house ----------(to be) on fire" to show her
concerns and often ---------(to criticize) business and political leaders because they----------(not
to take) any serious action.

Malala Yousafzai
Malala Yousafzai ----------(to be) a Pakistan woman. Her father,
Ziauddin Yousafzai, ran a girls’ school, however when the Taliban
moved in, they shut the school down as they ----------(not to believe)
girls should receive an education. Yousafzai continued to pursue her
education but, in 2012, a gunman shot her in her face. Now Malala
----------(to be) 23 and she ----------(not to live) in Pakistan any more. She and her family
----------(to live) in the United Kingdom. Malala----------(to run) a nonprofit fund, to give girls
everywhere a chance to study and have the future they deserve. She received the Nobel Peace
Prize for her work in 2014.

Jane Goodall
In 1960 Jane Goodall moved to Tanzania to study chimpanzees. She was only 26
years old; she loved animals and was just a secretary.
Today, she ----------(to be) Dame Jane Goodall, a famous ethologist, and her
story has been told in more than 40 films.
When she began to study chimpanzees people knew very little about them, but her observations
where a great contribution to Science.
She----------(to be) now 83, she rarely ----------(to spend) more than a few months in one place,
she ----------(to travel) the world to raise awareness for her causes. She ----------(to be)the
founder of the Jane Goodall Institute, an organisation which ----------(to create) sanctuaries for
apes and Roots & Shoots another organization that----------(to work)with schoolchildren to
teach them about the importance of preserving our environment.
Jane Goodall´s life ----------(to be) interesting for her work but also because of she was a
woman in a male-dominated field. She was dismissed and ridiculed. She was called a “blonde
with more time for monkeys than men” and people said my fame was because of her legs.
Ms Goodall ----------(not to think) she is a feminist icon, and she ----------(to say) she can be an
inspiration for anyone of any gender.
