Task 1 – Evidence Document
• Open the file Evidence.rtf
• Make sure your name, Centre number and Class & Roll No will appear on every
page of your Evidence Document by placing these details in the header.
• Save this Evidence Document, as a word processed document, in your work area
as Evidence followed by your Class & Roll No. For example, Evidence10A01

Task 2 – Presentation
You are going to prepare a presentation for the company.
1. Import the file SALES.RTF and place the text as slides in a new presentation in
your presentation software. [1]
2. Create a master slide with the following styles: [2]
• titles should be in a 30 point serif font and left aligned
• subtitles should be in a 20 point serif font and left aligned
3. Place the following items on the master slide: [9]
• Draw two thick (about 3 point) vertical lines down the slide on the right side
• Draw a thick (about 3 point) horizontal line across the width of the slide
about 3cm from the bottom of the slide
• Place the image of car in your folder and place this between the vertical lines
below the horizontal line
• Resize and flip the direction of the car so as to fit it in the space.
• Enter your name, Centre number and candidate number in a 12 point serif
font at the top right of the master slide but not overlapping the lines
• Slide numbers should appear at the top left of each slide.

4. Make sure all master slide items appear on all slides and that no master slide or
slide contents overlap each other.
• Paste screenshot of your slide master in the evidence document.
5. Apply the layout title and subtitle to the first slide. [1]
6. Move slide 4 to become slide 2. [1]
7. Create a vertical bar chart using the data in the file MICROSALES.CSV [3]
This chart should compare sales in 2010 with sales in 2011 for each model.
Add axis titles and an appropriate chart title.
Show the text 2010 and 2011 in legends.
8. Place this chart on slide 2.
9. Apply consistent transitions between slides. [1]
Take a screenshot to show that transitions have been set and place this in your
evidence document.
10. Set bullet point animation so that they are timed to appear one by one
automatically. [1]
Take a screenshot of the animation settings and place it in your evidence
document.
11. Print the slides as handouts with two to a page. [1]
Make sure that you have entered your Name, Class, Division & Roll No on your
handouts.

Task 3 – Graphs & Charts

12. Open the file Revenue.csv in a suitable software package and save it in a format
suitable for creating graphs & charts with the name Revenue followed by your
class/div roll no. e.g., Revenue9A01
13.• You are going to represent Tawara’s annual revenue, net income and its profit
margin from the years 2012 to 2018 in graphical form. [9]
• Create a combination chart such that:
o The revenue and net income are displayed as a 2-D column chart
represented on the primary axis
o The profit margin is displayed as a line chart with markers represented on
the secondary axis
o Relevant primary and secondary axis titles are provided to the chart
o Show a linear trend line for revenue
o Modify the primary axis so that the interval between the consecutive values
10000 and the upper limit is 100000
o Modify the secondary axis so that the lower limit for the profit margin is 0.21
o The legend is clearly displayed
• Provide an appropriate title to the chart.
• Add your name, class division, roll no at the bottom in the chart.
• Make sure no content overlaps
• Save and print your chart only.
Print the Combo chart. Make sure that you have entered your name, class div roll
no.

Task 3 – IMAGE EDITING

14. • Open the image Landscape.png in a suitable photo editing package.


• Resize the image to make the width as 1000 pixels keeping the aspect ratio
maintained. [1]
• Paste screenshot of how you resized the image in your evidence document.
• Save the image as Landscape1.png at the same location.
15. • Open the image Landscape1.png edited in step 14.
• Crop the image from left by 375 pixels so as to convert the image into a square
image of 625 by 625 pixels. [1]
• Paste screenshot of how you cropped the image in your evidence document.
• Save the image as Landscape3.png at the same location.
16. • Open the image Landscape3.png edited in step 15.
• Save the image as a Landscape4.png with 16 bits per channel. [1]
• Paste screenshot of how you changed the image channels.
17. • Open the image Landscape4.png edited in step 16.
• Save the image as a jpeg file as Landscape5.jpg.
• Reduce the resolution of the image without altering its dimensions, so as to make
the file size less than 150 KB. [1]
• Paste screenshot of how you changed the image resolution.
18. • Display the Name, Date Modified, Extension, Size, Dimensions & Bit Depth in
your folder’s detailed view. [1]
• Paste screenshot of your working area in your evidence document. [1]
