ONLINE EXAMINATION - PROCESS

 The question paper can be downloaded from the WEB PORTAL of office of the Controller of
Examinations, Anna University, Chennai 30 minutes before the examination.

 Correct question paper shall be sent to the students of their college by the PRINCIPAL in any of the
platforms such as Google classroom / Microsoft Teams / Gmail or any other resources.
Students have to write the examination in the A4 size paper on both the sides limited to 30 pages.
Students must write the examinations in blue or black pen and not allowed to type answer paper and
also copy & paste the text book images in their answer scripts.

ONLINE EXAMINATION - PROCESS
 Students should write their Register Number, Name of the Student and Subject Code on the
top of each page.
 Students should write the Date of Examination, Page Number and Signature of the Student
should on the bottom of each page.
 After completing the examination, the student will scan the answer script and convert it as a
PDF file with file name: Register Number-Subject_Code.
 The Principals are requested to create necessary Student IDs in Google
Classrooms/Microsoft Teams/Gmail or any other sources practiced during the regular
assessments required for the End-Semester Examination.

ONLINE EXAMINATION - PROCESS
 The Google Classroom/ Microsoft Teams/ Gmail / any other sources are to be customized /
configured so that the students could be able to upload the answer script.
 The candidate will upload the answer script through Google classroom / Microsoft Teams /
Gmail or any other sources practiced during the regular assessments within the prescribed
time limit as directed by the Principal/Dean of the College.
 The candidate has to dispatch his/her answer script in a cloth line cover by Speed Post /
Registered Post addressed to the Principal of the respective Institution on the same day of
examination for the fore-noon session and on the very next day for the afternoon session
failing which it will be treated as absent.

ONLINE EXAMINATION - PROCESS
 The details of the answer scripts received are to be entered in the WEB PORTAL of the
office of the Controller of Examinations, Anna University, Chennai on day to day basis.
The soft copy of answer scripts are to be collected only using Quiz Assignment facility
available in the Google classroom / Microsoft Teams / any other source.
After making the entry of all details in the web portal, the Attendance sheet has to be
downloaded by the faculty member and submitted to the Principal for each subject.
In case if the hard copy is not received by the college, then the faculty member may
download and print the softcopy of the answer script.

ONLINE EXAMINATION - PROCESS
 After tallying the attendance, the answer scripts shall be handed over to the Principal and
then Zonal Coordinator of the Zone concerned shall collect the answer script bundle along
with the attendance.
 The answer scripts of only those candidates who have uploaded the PDF in Google
Classroom/Microsoft Teams/Gmail or any other sources practiced during the regular
assessments within the prescribed time limit and whose answer script received at the
Institution within the prescribed time limit will be considered for valuation.
 Submitting more than one copy of the answer script for a particular subject will be
considered as MALPRACTICE activity. Further, the students’ handwriting shall be verified
with the existing handwriting available with the office of CoE and any mismatching will be
considered as impersonation.

ONLINE EXAMINATION - PROCESS
 Since the examinations are conducted in Online Mode, the students have to attend the
examination only from their place and dispatch their answer scripts by speed post/ registered
post to their respective institutions. Students should not visit the Institution to hand over the
answer script in person.
The softcopy of the answer scripts received from the students must be kept under safe
custody for future reference.
The covers used by the students for dispatching answer scripts must also be kept under safe
custody for future verification.
