HOMEWORK ASSIGMENT 1

February 2020, countdown is coming to an end, and also excitement is growing day by day. In
first week of March of the same year, I was getting ready to go skiing with my friends. We went to
the French Alps and were very excited, so no one even tought how the situation would go on. Let’s
not forget that this was the beginning of the corona virus pandemic. Also, beautiful period in my life.

From the very start of skiing, atmosphere was very relaxed and everyone was in good mood.
There was lot of laughter and fun, so much so that I had sore muscle from laughing. The snowy peaks
of the Alps that stretched indefinitely left us breathless every day. Everything was magical and
unforgettable. We were very happy for the time we spent together.

But we didn’t know that this was only the beginning. Upon arrival we received quarantine for 28
days. We knew immediately what it meant, that we would spend another 28 day together. The
organization lasted about an hour. We went grocery shopping, packed our things and headed to
Divčibare in the cottage, which became our temporary home. Seven of us in one house. Preparing 3
meals a day, tidying up the house, putting together a puzzle, watching movies, board games, drinking
cofee, grilling in the yard, sometimes short-term quarrels. Even though noting happend and whole
word stopped, our days were filled with laughter, love and most importantly healt.

Now, and then, after all, despite the fact that all our plans were disrupted, that life has changed
completly, I think that this is one of the most beautiful periods of my life and when I know what
awaits me, I would go through everything again without thinking.
