The more slender versions for local streets come in 180- and 200-mm diameters.
The thicker variants with 230 mm for heights up to 9 metres are ideal for plazas and

GOBO PROJECTION ELEMENT
Gobos are templates that are placed in front of lighting sources to control the shape of light
projected onto illuminated surfaces. Common applications include logos and images, which
project onto walls.
In addition, they are also useful for shielding, enabling the blocking out of light incidence
on specific areas of buildings, such as windows, etc., for optimum illumination and
improved energy efficiency.
To achieve the effects and performance you envision from the projector elements, Hess‘
qualified assistance with the planning, configuration and combining of the projector
elements is necessary.

Hess columnar lighting system with top, base and, if required, intermediate extension elments.
Constructed from round aluminium section and cast aluminium. 230 mm diameter, maximum
height of 9 m. All of the elements pivot through 360°. Choice of any RAL, Hess mica or Hess DB
finish.
For a total height of 3500 mm, the embedded base’s required length is 600 mm. If the total
height is between 3500 and 6000 mm, a 800-mm embedded base is necessary. Heights between
6000 and 8000 require embedded bases with 1000-mm length, and 8000- to 10,000-mm high
columns should have 1200-mm long embedded bases. For other column heights, use the City
Elements Configurator to determine the appropriate embedded base length.
