This study aimed to introduce the Efficacy of Installation of Umpire

Chair for Sepak Takraw in Urdaneta City University (UCU). The study shows

the efficacy of the umpire chair in accordance to its construction and its

function.

This study sought to determine the level of benefits towards the varsity

players of sepak takraw and the umpires on the game sepak takraw, the

academic year 2019-2020.

The descriptive research method was used in this study. The sampling

scheme is based on the chosen criteria of the study. In data gathering

instrument that we use I the questionnaire checklist, focus on the forty (40)

respondents in high school students at Sto. Domingo, San Manuel,

Pangasinan.

Proper statistical tool where chosen and used to analyze and interpret the

data gathering.

Based on the problem posed in this study, the following are the
findings:

The design, materials and construction cost of the installation of Umpire Chair
for

Sepak Takraw are readily available and affordable; The Efficacy of the

Installation of Umpire Chair for Sepak Takraw meets the criteria of durability,

functionality, and safety enhancement based on the assessment of the

respondents; The level of student’s assessment towards the Efficacy of the

Installation of Umpire Chair for Sepak Takraw Construction and it’s

functionality in terms of durability it has weighted mean of 2.66 with a

descriptive equivalent of highly effective.

Based on the findings of the study, the following are the conclusions drawn:

Layout, design and construction the Efficacy of the Installation of Umpire

Chair for Sepak Takraw can be improved.

Based on the findings of the study, and the conclusions drawn, the following

recommendations are hereby offered: The PEHM Department should utilize

the Installation Umpire Chair for Sepak Takraw as a sport equipment because

it will have a good impact or good help to the future PEHM/BCAED and BPED

major for the subject, Team Sport in terms of safety, durability, and

functionality. The PEHM department of Urdaneta City University (UCU) should

endeavor to provide different kinds of equipment that will be used by the

instructors and umpire to develop their performance through the use of this

study.

Future researchers should make further study on other equipment

installation needed for other ball game specifically basketball.

Based on the findings of the study, the following are the conclusion

drawn: Layout, design, and construction of the Efficacy of Installation of the

Umpire Chair for Sepak Takraw can be improved. The Efficacy of Installation

of the Umpire Chair for Sepak Takraw was very durable, functional, and

safety. The installation for Sepak takraw is highly effective compared to a

game without using umpire chair.

Based on the findings of the study, conclusions drawn: the following

recommendations are at this moment offered: The PEHM Department should

utilize the Efficacy of Installation of the Umpire Chair for Sepak Takraw as a

sports equipment in conducting a game in sepak takraw and help the PE 4

students in coaching and officiating Team Sports. The research study could be

improved by using alternative materials that are more durable and light

materials to make the output become presentable as long as the materials are

budget friendly. The future researchers should improve this study by making

the chair to become adjustable in height so that it can also be utilize in other

sports like volleyball, not just in sepak takraw and badminton. The future

researchers could improve the umpire chair by adding some features such as

improvised net post attached on the umpire chair, it can lessen the amount.
