1. Can you introduce yourself and describe your current situation?

My name is Veronica and I am the volunteer accountant for the local church. Currently, I am
facing an issue where I am managing the church's finances using Excel, resulting in a messy and
disorganized system.

2. What is the problem you are currently experiencing?

My current system is not user-friendly, and there is a risk of losing important financial data,
which could negatively impact the church's financial stability. Also my current system is not
secure, and we are at risk of being vulnerable to outsiders accessing important financial data.

3. How are you currently solving the problem?

My husband and I are manually managing the incomes and expenses using Excel, but it is
taking up a lot of time and effort. I try to make the most of it by learning more practical ways to
use the platform but it is not having any major results.

4. What kind of solution are you looking for me to create?

I am looking for a Java application that will make managing the church's finances easier and
more secure. The solution should require a password to log in and access the financial records,
meaning, it should have a report section that provides valuable information, including total
income, expense, profit, and loss of a day, month, or year. I should be able to add, delete, and
modify incomes and expenses separately.

5. Are there any specific features or options that you would like the program to carry out?
I would like the program to offer an option where I can calculate the exchange rate from dollar
to peso. This will allow me to have a more organized system as I will have everything in the
same currency. Moreover, I would like the proposal to be user-friendly and easy to use as this
will offer a better experience than Excel. I also should not be able to close the application
without saving the work to ensure that none of the financial records will be lost.
