QUALIFICATIONS:

Resource Management, Marketing or equivalent.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
 Responsible for processing over-the-counter transactions, miscellaneous payments, and
collections.
 Reports directly to the Branch Cashier
 Has direct contact with the clients who transact over-the-counter business with the bank
 Performs related tasks that may be assigned

1. Tell me about yourself.

I’m Karl Hendricks B. Rada, a Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
Major in Human Resource Management at Polytechnic University of the Philippines. I am a
fresh graduate, and I have a good background in socialization and information and
communication technology. Way back in junior high school, I have won several awards in
debating and chaired some clubs in our school. I become an interim adviser for Science and
Math Club even though I am a student due to the incapability of the faculty to replace our former
adviser. I am also a recognized Microsoft Office Specialist in Powerpoint by Microsoft, and I also
submitted a portfolio for visual graphic design NCIII in TESDA. In Senior High School, I also
become a student leader in various organizations in our school. I am the president of Youth for
Environment in Schools Organization and a Public Information Officer in the school’s Supreme
Student Government. I am also part of the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization -
Division level as a Treasurer. And lastly, I became the Rover scout leader for our campus. With
these experiences, I have greatly enhanced my technical skills and interpersonal skills. And as
a Major in Human Resource Management, my interpersonal skills have intensified due to
various workshops and training I have attended. This helps me to improve my communication
skills through establishing rapport, creating relationships, and building trust. In terms of my
personal skills, I am loyal, trustworthy, and competent in working as a Bank Teller.
2. What is your greatest strength?
Adaptability is one of the greatest strengths that I possess. Being adaptable helps me to
become part of an environment that is unusual to me. And with that, it enables me to establish
connections and rapport easily to different individuals. It also helps me to learn new skills and
behaviours in response to changing circumstances. There are many times wherein I transfer to
various schools that makes me adapt new environment and through it, helps me to become
flexible in engaging and responding quickly to the tasks given to me. I can also withstand
pressure and modification in the workplace or jobs given to me as in senior high school and as
well in college, there are a lot of tasks with limited time allocation and changes regarding the
work that you should pass. I also encounter those situations as a Public Information Officer
when some of the student government members is not available and there is a need to replace
the technical team as well as the planning team in preparing an online event proposed by
different officer as I was the one who take charge in managing the situation.
3. Can you describe a situation in your past where you learned from a mistake?
Being a leader which is merciful and compassionate is something that I should not done for a
long time as it leads me to condoning or permitting my groupmates or co-workers to be torpid
and inactive. There are a lot of times wherein I always allow myself assume duties and
responsibilities of others even though I should not as I will not benefit for it and it will just give
more burden to me will push me back and make my progress slower. This situation and
characteristic of myself taught me that being a leader is not being generous and kind but rather
being a guide and helper to your members especially those who needs your assistance but not
giving help that you are the one who is working for them.
4. What is the most difficult situation you have ever faced?
The difficult situation that I have encountered is facing the consequences of my wrongdoings. I
have been in that very terrifying and problematic situation in two months and that event makes
me worry, scared, and experience fatigue everyday due to the anxiety because of my
misconduct. At that time, I acknowledge my violation and I accept responsibility over the issue.
However, I am not strong enough to face it that leads me to being inactive and drained all day.
All of my motivations and inspiration fade away. And one of the most significant thing that
happened during that situation is ruining my relationship and trust to various individuals who is
very important to me and have a great connection to me. But I recover from all of it. I moved on.
Me and the other party concerned reconciled and all of it is fixed.
5. Is there anything you would like to improve about yourself?
If there is anything that I would like to improve to myself, it is being knowledgeable on the field
of communication and being competent through experiencing different challenges and being
exposed to various situations. Being knowledgeable on the field of communication will help me
become more efficient and effective worker as it will develop the ways I socialize, establish
relationship, and creating connections to people. I can only accomplish it by being exposed to
various situations like working as a bank teller and through experiencing obstacles and
hindrance which will enable to be prepared in encountering them in the future.
6. What is the most important thing you are looking for in a job?
The most important thing that I am looking for a job is the opportunities that I can receive and
experience as it will make me more competent and be able to learn new things and develop my
communication and technical skills. Opportunities is the key for me to grow and be exposed in
various competitions and challenges that will surely provide me accomplishments, recognition,
and knowledge which will nurture myself for the future.
7. What are your career goals?
My career goals in to become successful in the field of human resource management and I can
only achieve that through this step which is to become a bank teller. Being a bank teller will help
me become more prepared on the different individuals that I can encounter in the future and
also it will help me enhance my technical skills which is also needed in the career that I will
pursue.
8. What motivates you?
I am motivated by my passion to work for the benefit of others as I know that every action that I
will make is for the advantage and gain of the people who need my help as an individual.
Creating a significant impact to every one’s life is surely will not just benefit those individuals but
also myself who determined that I have a worth is someone’s live and I have a crucial role in
developing our society.
