The pie chart gives information about employment in the UK from 1998 and 2012.

The units of
measurement are number in 1000s. Overall, it can be seen that men (part-time) and women (full-
time) have increase percentage, but men (full-time) and women (part-time) have decrease
percentage.

It was clear that in 1998 men (full-time) was the largest employee in the UK (53%), but in 2012 the
percentage were decrease to be 47% same like women (part-time) from 22% to be 20%. Beside all of
that decrease percentage, the number all of category have to increase. The significant one was
women (full-time), from 4,482 to 7,696 number (in 1000s), which is more than double in 1998. The
number of men (part-time) was increase from 1,550 to 2,131. It was not significant as women (full-
time).

In conclusion, through all years from 1998 to 2012 men (full-time) will remain the most significant of
employment in the UK. Also, the greatest rise we will see was women (full-time) growth in 2012.
