Winter vacation is a time of fun and frolic for children and also a time to motivate them to do
some constructive activities to enhance their learning process. Here are a few tasks for your child
to be completed during the vacation.
The assignments are based on 'Art-Integrated Project’ and the central theme is ‘We Can Heal
Earth’.
General Instructions:
• Parents are requested to only guide their children while doing the assignments.
• All the work should be done neatly and independently.
• Project / Homework will be assessed on the basis of neatness, creativity and originality
of ideas.
English
The students will be asked to make a colourful newspaper (4-5 pages) wherein they will paste the
pictures related to the theme, “How We Can Heal the Earth”? and will write few lines / sentences
/ a paragraph based on the pictures.
Students can also mention Do’s and Don’ts to save the earth from the hazardous effects caused
by human activities.
Mathematics
As you have already made a compost bin for biodegradable waste. Record the waste thrown in it
on weekly basis. Also, record the weight of the non-biodegradable waste thrown by you on
weekly basis.

Make small bins that can be kept indoors which will allow kids the chance to easily sort the
garbage.
