 GENERAL MANUAL TO FOLLOW:
1. The homework of all subjects must be compiled in a single folder.
2. Separate the homework subject wise with the help of a plain sheet in the middle of every
subject.
3. Use A4 size light colored sheets for the homework.
4. Your homework should be a tidy and presentable, put all your creativeness and
innovation to complete your task.
5. Do revision of the concepts and lesson covered till the month of May.
6. Do English conversation with all family members to improve your vocal English.
7. Kindly paste the holiday homework worksheets in your particular subject notebooks.
8. For a kind act, we must practice putting a bowl of water for the birds in this scorching
heat, and plant water in our gardens; this will create positivity and sense of responsibility
within us.

Q2 Form the pair of linear equations in the following problems, and find their solutions (if they exist) by the
elimination method:

1 lending library has a fixed charge for the first three days and an additional charge for each day thereafter. Saritha
paid Rs.27 for a book kept for seven days, while Susy paid Rs.21 for the book she kept for five days. Find the fixed
charge and the charge for each extra day.

2 Ritu can row downstream 20 km in 2 hours, and upstream 4 km in 2 hours. Find her speed of rowing in still water
and the speed of the current.

Q3 Find two consecutive positive integers, the sum of whose squares is 365.

Q4 The sum of 4th and th terms of an AP is 24 and the sum of the 6th and 10th terms is 44. Find the first four
terms of the AP.
