Dear Parents

Greetings!

Summer Vacation is the best time to explore and create


memories and acquire new skills. To create a well-
rounded holiday experience and engage our young ones in
some creative work, we have put together some interesting
activities which the children will enjoy doing.
We want our children to have a joyful and experiential
learning.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
1. ENGLISH
1. Art Integrated Activity - Literature:
Collect the picture of different places to visit in Arunachal Pradesh and
paste it on A4 Sheet.

2. Creative Genius-
Prepare a PowerPoint presentation on different cuisines of Arunachal Pradesh.

3. Writing-
On A4 sheet write an essay (400 words) or poem or draw a painting on the topic- G20
India’s Vision on a Harmonious World.

4. Vocabulary Building-
Read Panchtantra written by Pandit Vishnu Sharma.
 Write about the motive behind the origin of these stories and from where and when
they were originated.
 Make a dictionary with word meaning, synonyms and antonyms of difficult words
you come across with.

5. Application- Write a letter to your class teacher asking for 2 days of leave.

Choose any one reason from the given.

Due to minor accident.


Or
Due to urgent need of going out of station.
Or
Due to an exam which is been conducted out of station

NOTE - All the above activities are to be done on A4 size sheet.

6. COMPREHENSION ACTIVITY-

To read comprehension activity 1 and 2 given on Pages 60 and 62 and


complete the exercises following it in your activity book.

2. HINDI

1-कबीर दास जी का चित्र सचित जीवन पररिय चिखिए तथा उनका चििा कोई मनपसंद दोिा
अथथ सचित चिखिए।

2-चनम्नचिखित चवषयों पर 100 शब्ों में अनुच्छेद चिखिए।

ि- मेरा चिय खििाडी

2-दो घडे का चित्र बनाइए ,उसके अंदर हृस्व स्वर तथा दीघथ स्वर को दशाथ कर रं ग भररए।

4-चकन्ीं पां ि भारतीय िाद्य पदाथो का चित्र चिपकाकर अथवा बनाकर उसमें पाएं जाने वािे
पौचिक तत्ों को चिखिए।

4. SCIENCE
METALS AND NON-METALS

1. Prepare cards showing any four metals and non-metals. The card should have
information like name of the metal/nonmetals, its physical properties, chemical
properties and its uses.

2. In a handmade file compare the methods, agricultural tools and types of crops
grown in Uttar Pradesh and Arunachal Pradesh. (ART INTEGRATED ACTIVITY)

3. Prepare Chapter 3 “METALS AND NONMETALS” thoroughly for your upcoming


PA.

4. Write down your original and creative ideas (working models) for the Science
Exhibition 2023. (Kindly note that students need not create any models for the
Science Exhibition during the summer break; they just need to write their
thoughts and ideas in the science notebook and be ready to provide an
explanation).

5. SOCIAL SCIENCE

i) Art Integrated project on Geography (To be done by all)


Collect pictures and information of any two rivers and mountains of
Arunachal Pradesh and paste in A4 size pastel sheet.

ii) History Project (To be done by all)


Collect pictures and information on History and evaluation of Indian National Flag and
paste on a Chart paper.

iii) Prepare model on the following topics as per roll no wise: -


1. Model of Charkha (Roll no 1-10)
2. Model of Judiciary (Roll no 11-20)
3. Model of Types of Industries (Roll no 21-30)
4. Model of various public services (Roll no 31-40)

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS ACTIVITY

Title: SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT Approach: student will do the

Summary: Students will gain an awareness about the 17 Sustainable
Development Goals and will be able to relate to them in order to think of solving
them.

ACTIVITY 2:
My Smart School
Imagine that your school needs to run on artificial intelligence software. Right from
coming to the school till leaving the school, think of various tasks and areas where
AI can be used. Use your imagination and creativity to suggest what amazing things
you would like AI to do for your school.

Prepare a chart representing a SCHOOL the centre and smart devices attached to it
through thin lines. Use your creativity to make the chart stand out uniquely.
