Project- 1
•Art Integrated Project- Search newspapers, browse through Internet to find
information about children’s authors three each from Karnataka and Uttarakhand
•Pen down the information or paste in your author’s journal.
•Based on your reading of this information, write a comparative study in your
own words, telling about language, genre, style of writing of any one author each
from Karnataka and Uttarakhand.
• Feel free to paste or draw relevant pictures.
• Now read a book of any one author out of these and write its book review
covering the following points:-
o Author’s life and achievements
o Chief Characters of the book under the headings- protagonists, antagonists and
supporting characters. Your favourite character of the book.
o Summary/plot and values highlighted in the book.
o The culture and social life of the characters of the book.
o Feel free to paste or draw relevant pictures.
• While reading the book you may come across new words and phrases, find their
meaning from dictionary and note them down in the Vocabulary Book in which
you write your word of the day at school.
Project-2- Read all the titles of the lessons given in your books- ‘Honeydew’ and ‘It so
happened…...’ then choose anyone lesson out of the two books. Now, give your chosen
lesson, the form of a comic strip by using dialogue clouds and pictures. Create the comic strip
on light colour A- 4 size sheets. Make it colourful and interesting.
Project -3-Diary Entry – Do you remember children on 21st April 2022 you attended an
Inter House E- Newspaper Designing Competition held at your school? Write a Diary Entry
about the competition. Share with your diary what you liked the most about the event, your
learning from the event, your inspiration if any. Brief it on everything that you remember
about the event. Now, write a Diary Entry daily, sharing with it, all your sweet and sour
experiences of the day.
Project- 4- Select any one topic from your grammar book of grade- VII or VIII and make a
working grammar game for it. You may use Led bulbs and electric circuits or any other
material of your choice.

IV) Based On Real Life Situations : -Write your and your parents’ present age. Taking

V) Based On Building Maths Vocabulary:- Write the meaning of at least six new
