KESAHAN DAN KEBOLEHPERCAYAAN

Terdapat dua jenis kebolehpercayaan khususnya yang releven untuk skala CAD iaitu
ketekalan dalam adalah darjah untuk melihat sejauh mana item-item berkait rapat secara
positif dan menyumbang kepada perubahan skor yang dipercayai. Bagi menghasilkan
ketekalan dalaman yang tinggi, kesemua item perlu berkorelasi secara positif dan sederhana
antara satu sama lain dan mengabungkan jumlah skor. Kestabilan dalam sesuatu pengujian
adalah penting dan merupakan pertimbangan psikometrik yang digunakan sebagai asas untuk
mengatasi masalah yang dihadapi oleh responden.

Kesahan kandungan CAD dipastikan semasa menghasilkan skala dengan

menyenaraikan item berdasarkan kriteria tekanan dan simptom yang dialami oleh seseorang
individu yang diambil daripada kaedah diagnosis dan DSM-IV. Kandungan CAD ini telah
disampel secara sistematik untuk mewakili simptom yang relevan berkaitan dengan
kemurungan dan menghasilkan CAD skala simptom dan kelompok item kritikal. CAD
mempunyai korelasi sederhana tinggi dengan MDI, BDI dan CDI. 75 item CAD termasuklah
penilaian ketekalan dalaman, kestabilan dan kesahan serentak. Bukti kesahihan adalah
berdasarkan struktur dalaman ujian untuk melihat sama ada instrumen melambangkan
konstruk yang telah direka bentuk untuk mengakses struktur dan kriteria dalaman.

Analisis faaktor dalaman bertujuan untuk menilai dimensi kontruk pada setiap skala
CAD dibahagikan kepada dua bahagian yang diletakkan bersebelahan dengan konstruk dan
faktor yang bersesuaian dengan CAD. Setiap anak panah melengkung yang menghubungkan
dua bentuk bujur yang menunjukkan terdapat hubungkait yang ketara antara dua skala.
