HANDS-ON #3

1. Open your file hands-on2-SURNAME.


2. Create reports for the 2 tables: CUSTOMER & ORDER.
How?
a. Click Create tab:

b. Then choose Report Wizard.

c. Click >, >> to select the available fields and <, << to unselect.
d. Choose your groupings:

*I chose Major here, which means it is grouped by major.

e. Click Next.
f. Choose field to sort your records.
*I chose StudID here in Ascending order. You may change it by clicking the ascending button
to descending order.
g. Click the summary options…
h. Click the appropriate summary you want to be calculated. Then click OK.

i. Click Next.
j. Choose layout and orientation. Then click NEXT.
k. Rename the report. Choose preview report. Then click FINISH.

l. A preview of your report is displayed. If ### appears, you should resize the width size.
m. Close the print preview. Open design view. Adjust the width of tuition fee.

n. Change the view into Print Preview.


3. After you created the reports for the 2 tables. Modify the 2 forms: CUSTOMER & ORDER, insert a
command button to call those created reports (Preview).
