    Kahundit, Surahan and other villagers from Palapag arrived on a new island, with Kahundit telling them this place will be good for their livelihood and families as it is rich in sea and land. The villagers spread out to make their homes. In the second scene, Spanish colonizers saw lights along the shoreline of Laoang Bay and asked the native villagers what the place was called. The villagers replied "Lawag", which the Spanish repeated, and both the natives and colonizers laughed together.

    Scene 1 “Arrival of the villagers from Palapag”

    Kahundit, Surahan and anod-anod arrived in the island, leading other villagers
    to a new island island.

    Kahundit: “Tikang yana, dihan na kita. Dihan na kita mag-uukoy upod an


    aton mga anak ngan an aton mga apo. Dihan na an aton pangabuhian
    kay ini nga lugar mayaman, sa tuna man ug kadagatan.”

    The villagers will spread out and do their living.

    Scene 2 “Arrival of the Spanish Colonizers”

    The Spanish colonizers asked the natives of the island about the numerous lights
    dotting the shoreline of Laoang Bay.

    Spanish General: “Que number es ti de lugar?”

    Villagers: “Huh? Lawag?”

    Spanish General: “Lawag? Ah. Lawag.”

    The natives laugh at the Spaniards and the Spaniards join in.
