ABSTRACT

The College of Information Technology (CIT) of Northeastern College, Santiago


City, Isabela sends out their students yearly to have their On-The-Job Training on different
agencies/offices, either public or private institution, as workplace training ground. This is
one of the requirements for the graduating students who are taking up Bachelor of Science
in Information Technology course.

The activity is known as the On-The-Job Training that lets the student to experience
and learn all the possible duties and responsibilities of an employee in certain office. It is
not just being an encoder but as real worker who knows his/her duties such as to perform the
work with all honesty and gratitude; to comply with all the agreements; to perform the given
work with enthusiasm and interest; never employ indecent acts or violence in presenting a
cause; and never consort with agitators or men of evil principle. Moreover, a worker imbued
with moral and ethics.

Through this venture, the student will be able to experience on how to interact with
the different types of employees with different personalities which can help them to easily
cope up with the individual differences on a certain office. As well as to develop their
communication skills in every transaction they made in the offices, considering that
profession demands dedication, loyalty, devotion, human understanding, interest and plain
hard work.

The Overall objective of this On-the-Job Training is to train the student to be


proficient in their chosen profession. And that this activity is beneficial to the student in
order to improve their ability and capability in accomplishing or performing works
observing all the rules and regulations of the office.
Furthermore, the On-The-Job Training is one method by which students is given a
chance to apply the theories and knowledge that they have learned from school to their
chosen profession. It is one way of developing and exploring themselves on the real world
of works to be ready in facing job after graduation.
