Kinley: Uhm… hi? Did I walk in the wrong office? You are not my usual Dr?

Therapist: Oh! Not at all! Nagdecide na kasi si Dr Therissa na mag retire to pursue her true major in
college and I’m the new resident psychologist. I know it will be a hard change pero I know we can work
together to catch up

Kinley: Oh… that’s okay… I’m Kinley. Kinley Levario

Therapist: Excellent! I’m Dr. Cassia Ocultar. Now Kinley, alam kong nailagay na sa files mo ang case mo,
pero I would like to hear it first hand galing sayo. Why are you here exactly?

Kinley: Uhm… I have this monster [scene glitch sa monster na nakatalikod] it has been tormenting me for
YEARS and YEARS now… [scene glitch sa monster na humaharap] like, pinapahirapan niya ako in a way
na it will flood my head with voices and thoughts and then makakaramdam ako ng tremendous amount
of guilt out of the blue. Like, it will make me have an anxiety attack or hyperventilate with no particular
reason, and habang nagkakaganon ako, it will just… stare me down … like it basks in my misery… but
whenever my best friend Cas was around it don’t show up. And that’s pretty much it

Therapist: Oh I’m really sorry to hear that Kinley, ano nang mga steps ang na-tackle Ninyo ni Dr.
Therissa?

Kinley: Well, we tried naming it something…uhm… normal. We called it Shion. She also told me to try
talking to it kapag nagpakita siya. Also uhm, she also told me to look for clues or hints sa mga sinasabi ni
Shion tuwing tinotorment niya ako para malaman namin yung root niya. She also said that I should…
also try to draw it. Just to acknowledge that it was really there. Sinabi niya rin na sabihin ko kay Cas
about dito and she said she’ll try to help. And that’s pretty much it.

Therapist: that’s good, that’s good. Uhm, about sa nabanggit mong roots, does Shion have been
tormenting you with a specific memory or is it just like a personification of your…well, trauma?

Kinley: that’s what we are trying to find our Doc, the things Shion says don’t make sense. It always says,
“Its all my fault”, “remember what you did”, “you are the reason that she’s gone”, “how can you live this
life when you took hers”, “you are a murderer” and so on and so forth. But I don’t remember killing
anyone, or a she or anything. Before college, Cas is the only outside people besides my family that I
interacted with.

Therapist: uh huh… yeah that really is… odd. But I have a proposition…

Kinley: and what is it?

Therapist: as one of my college thesis, we have formed a serum to jog your hippocampus to trigger
veiled traumatic memories that hide in your memory as your brain’s form of protecting you from
emotional distress when you remember it again. It also triggers what people call your “deepest darkest
secret” and the hidden guilt your brain does not allow you to fully express due to emotional instability
due to a very traumatic event that happened to you. It is clearly unpleasant, but by that, we can monitor
your neurological activity and find out what Shion has been using to torment you. Would you like to try?

Kinley: ….what? NO! ABSOLUTELY NOT! I’M NOT SOME MERE TEST PATIENT PARA SA INYO! ARE YOU
CRAZY?!

Therapist: you… *chuckles* did you just asked me iff… *maniacal laughter* DID YOU JUST ASKED ME IF I
AM THE CRAZY ONE?! LADY YOU ARE THE ONE IN A MENTAL FACILITY! ISIPIN MO NGA YON *completely
unhinged laughter* ME?! CRAZY?! GUSTO KA NAMIN TULUNGAN, but of course you are very ungrateful.
Nurses…

Kinley: huh….?

[screen blacks out]

[screen opens in Kinley’s eye shot open]

[gets up]

Casper: Oh, gising ka na, nyare? Parang nakakita ka ng multo? HAHAHAHA

Kinley: huh? Oh hi Cas. Wala, probably just nightmare HAHAAH

Casper: Yikes. BTW di mo pa nakakain yung sandwich mo. Kainin mo na aka lumamig yan

Kinley: KAAAYYY THANK YOU BESTIE

Casper: *kakapa, then maghahanap* ahhh shit

Kinley: *habang nakain* Hmm? Wassup?

Casper: Naiwan ko yung juice sa kotseee. Ugh Brb kukunin ko lang yon.

Kinley: Alright alright take your time

[exeunt Casper]

Shion: Do you blame yourself?

Kinley: What?

Shion: What’s common within this situation for the patient to feel a kind of… guilt

Kinley: What… situation?

Shion: *long pause* *glitches to kid Casper* The accident

Kinley: *drops sandwich* *shock look on face*

[camera slowly pans until Shion is out of frame]

[enter Casper]

Casper: Ki? Kiki? You okay? Anyare?

Kinley: … Shion

Casper: Ah shit, it’s here again? Sorry wala ako

Kinley: Cas, may pinakita si Shion sakin

Casper: Huh? Ano yun?

Kinley: A kid… in braids… in a dress. Bloody and messy. A-and… and she said something about… an
accident? And that is what I should be guilty about… Cas I’m… i’m so confused and scared… *start to
cry*
Casper: Omg… Heyyy hey Ki, its okayyy, lam mo namang ginugulo ka lang ni Shion right? C’mere *hugs
Kinley* Shh its okay… you know what? Tara, balik tayo sa condo ko and lets just work sa mga assigments
para distraction, how’s that?

Kinley: thank you… that sound great

[exaunt both]

That’s Casper. Kinley’s best friend. Well, that’s kind a obvious huh? Well, let me make it more obvious
to you. Who’s that other one? You mean Shion? *laugh*

[shows flashbacks of Kinley and Casper hanging out all the time and studying together]

[Kinley wakes up again from sleeping]

Casper: KINLEY! WAG KA NGA MATULOG! Di pa natin tapos yung research paper!

Kinley: Huh? Wait nakatulog nanaman ba ako? Ah shit sorry

Casper: Sabi ko sayo wag ka na magpuyat kasi buong araw tayong gagawin yung paper. You need the
energy and concentration.

Kinley: Sorryyyyy… I would’ve drank coffee, kung di lang ako acidic [canon Jaemna HAHAHAHHAHA]
*tumayo para kumuha ng water* *nag glitch sa mental ward cart* Huh??

Casper: Oof, RIP

Kinley:Hm? Y-Yeah, oof. Now anong part na ang gagawin natin? *looks nervous*

*Long pause* [Casper stare at Kinley]

Kinley: What?

Nurse 1: Ano daw gagawin?

Nurse 2: 70 mcg ng midazolam

Nurse 3: Okay ako na dyan *gets syringe*

Kinley: A-ANO YAN???? GET AWAY! STOP! *tinurukan* *strained pain noise :<*

Nurse 3: good, hawakan niyo siya hanggang tumalab yung Midazolam

Nurse 2: Lagyan na natin siya ng straight jacket since mabilis naman ang effect

Nurse 1: Eto *gives straight jacket to Nurse 3*

Nurse 3: *puts straight jacket to Kinley*
