Continuous assessment

Students are automatically entered for continuous assessment, which consists of the following activities:

— Two mid-semester exams (30% of the final grade each, 60% in total), in March and the first half of May,
respectively. In the first mid-term exam, 10% of the mark corresponds to linguistic accuracy.

— A translation project, to be presented orally (30%).

— Test on translation theory (10%).

Examination-based assessment

Students who cannot follow the continuous assessment procedure may request single assessment provided they
do so by the deadline established in the Faculty’s exam calendar.

Single assessment consists of the following activities:

— An examination (100% of the final grade), which takes place on the date established in the Faculty’s exam
calendar.
Repeat assessment

Repeat assessment consists of a final examination (worth 100% of the final grade).
