1. Includes a self-diagnosis based on self-knowledge.

As I have seen in topic two on Self-Awareness and Knowledge of the Environment,

self-knowledge is the starting point of self-management, in that sense, the fact that I
have realized that I am starting to feel frustrated by the situation I am currently living
being the leader of my neighborhood community, normally as a human being would
make me think a lot of negative things about myself and my neighbors. But to avoid
that feeling because I want to grow as a person, I would first start by thinking about
what are the main things that are making me feel angry, frustrated or uncomfortable,
I would also do an introspection of how I am to be aware of my emotions and
recognize the impact they have on the actions I am taking or would take in some
circumstances.

2. Includes a self-diagnosis based on emotional intelligence.

Self-knowledge and empathy are the basis of emotional intelligence. Knowing what I
am and what I like and dislike would allow me to be aware of my recurring emotions
when facing specific situations. As for the neighborhood dilemma, once I have
reflected on the overall situation I would start by changing my perspective on the
situation, the problem and the people involved to start thinking differently and instead
of focusing on the negative side of the problem come up with positive solutions,
because from what I’ve learned is that, if you always focus on the feelings that you
want to disappear, instead of disappearing they would intensify, and thus you would
never be able to perform well as a leader and be satisfied with your work, your
personal life and yourself.

3. Includes a self-diagnosis based on social intelligence.

After having analyzed and understood the situation, after having made an
introspection to know myself and to understand what it is and how to improve my
emotional intelligence, I think I would be able to manage social intelligence.
As a leader of the neighborhood, I must develop interpersonal skills in order to
establish good and positive relationships with my neighbors, listen to their complaints
and try to address those issues with the best possible solution that fits well with the
other people living around.

4. Includes an action plan that has a self-development element.

The element of self-development that I would choose to improve in this specific

situation is social intelligence, whose action plan would include developing more
intrapersonal skills, communication skills and soft skills, so that I can know how to
approach people when there is not a positive circumstance or when there is no good
news to give them in order to learn how to manage those types of situations well so
that everyone feels comfortable within the community and the decisions that are
being made.

5. Includes an action plan that has a positive relationships element.

As I mentioned I want to improve my social intelligence and that goes hand in hand
with positive relationship management, the specific things I would do as a community
leader is to hold monthly neighborhood meetings and surveys to bring out the voice
and opinions of people in an orderly and respectful manner to ensure that everyone
feels included, heard and valued within the community, that way we will improve
engagement and sense of belonging and achieve the greatest possible satisfaction
and diminish complaints.
