PROPS USED DURING THE SEARCH TI DAYAG TI VILLAVERDE 2022

The concept of the dance presentation during the pageant was to

showcase the rich culture of Villaverde. Portraying different dances in the

region thru an interpretative and creative presentation. The dancers wore

“salakot” that defines traditional lightweight headgear from the Philippines that

is commonly used during pre-colonial era up to the present day, used for

protection against the sun and rain. They also wore attires used for folkdances

that showcases the creativeness of the fabrics and designs of the region. A

traditional festive tree like props was also used that composes of colorful

papers and foils that represents prosperity in the region.
