About AMMIE 2023


AMMIE 2023, an annual international conference, on Advanced Materials, Manufacturing and
Industrial Engineering being organized by the School of Mechanical Engineering, Vellore Institute of
Technology (VIT), Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India during 23rd & 24th March 2023. This premier technical
conference will focus on cutting-edge technologies developed in the fields of materials, manufacturing
technologies and modern tools being employed in industrial engineering. This conference provides a
wider international forum for researchers and industry practitioners to share their new ideas, original
research results and technical developments. This includes but not limited to a wide range of topics in
the area of advanced materials and their characterization, extractive metallurgy, corrosion of materials,
biomaterials, composite materials, mechanical properties of materials and processing of metals.
Further, it covers manufacturing technologies such as Machining and Forming Technology,
Non-Traditional Material Removal Processes, Machine Tools Technology, Materials Joining, Laser
Technology and applications, Micro and Nano Fabrication, Robotics, Mechatronics and Manufacturing
Automation, Precision Engineering, Inspection, Measurement and Metrology, Sustainable and Green
Manufacturing, Additive Manufacturing, Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems, Application of
evolutionary Computing Techniques in Manufacturing Operations, Manufacturing Planning,
Optimization and Simulation, Smart Manufacturing, Virtual Manufacturing and other Disruptive
Technologies in Manufacturing Engineering. The Keynote and Invited papers from leading academic
and industrial research settings will provide a comprehensive overview of the status and potential
future directions for research.
Considering the present scenario of COVID pandemic, this conference will be conducted in hybrid
mode and we look forward to have maximum contribution from researchers across the globe.

Call for Submission of full Manuscript


Authors are requested to submit full manuscript through online in conference website
http://www.ammie2023.com. Manuscript should be prepared as per the guidelines given in
the website. Acceptance of manuscript will be intimated to authors by Email in due course of
time after peer review. Upon acceptance, authors are requested to complete the registration
process.
