According to a large number of participants herbal medicines are mostly conventional to use and does have to
take any extra effort in consuming herbal medicines.
3. Do you think that herbal medicines can cure all diseases?
From the responses, we gathered for this question we realize that most of our participants are not aware of the
effects of herbal products on ailments but many are considering it as an effective alternative for allopathic
medicines and are leaning towards the herbals.
After experiencing the positive effects of herbal products and recognizing their potential many opt to use herbal
medicines and are recommending them to others.
5. Which medicines are used for quick relief?
As discussed in the previous question it was observed that allopathic medicines are known for their quick
activity over the aliments and hence are quite popular in the market of medicine. But the studies show that
many people opt for herbal medicines due to certain reasons and the demand for herbals is growing rapidly.
6. What was the frequency of side effects of herbal medicines?
After using herbal medicines people have observed no side effects or very mild side effects which are quite
normal because our body responds to any foreign material due to its immune system.
About 40% of the total respondents believe that we can completely rely on herbal medicines for our well-being
and to overcome all health-related issues.
8. Which kinds of medicines are economically favorable?
More than half of respondents are of opinion that the herbal medicines are more economical than any other
kind of alternative medicines available in the market for certain diseases.
9. Do you think that the herbal medicines we consume are in their pure form?
The purity of the herbal product can be a question of interest as we cannot be sure about each product. To
overcome this situation, it is suggested that the government should set some particular guidelines to make sure
that a quality product is made available to the consumers.
IV. RESULT AND DISCUSSION
On the account of data collected from the people, it is observed that people are choosing herbal medicines over
conventional medicines. But people opt for allopathic medicines as they assure quick relief. It is observed that

there are no side effects of herbal medicines. And people are ready to suggest others’ of using herbal medicines
and are of opinion that herbal medicines can be more effective than others.
People are getting aware of the benefits of herbal medicines and the traditional method of treatment. But there
is room for doubt about the purity of the product being used. Efficiency and safety should be best on the normal
pattern of mainstream clinical medicines.
V. CONCLUSION
From the conviction accumulated by the common people and from the discussion, it can be concluded that
people are changing their attitude towards herbal medicines and are believing in their efficiency and
advantages.
In large numbers, our population is aware of the side effects caused due to periodic use of allopathic medicines
and hence chooses herbal products. And this point of view will help us to release the burden on allopathic
medicine and therefore it can be used mostly for emergency purposes.
