Application

Binder+Co attrition cells are used to increase the quality of mineral raw and residual materials. By means of
attrition, agglomerates are dispersed and particles are cleaned from coatings.

Intensive particle-on-particle impact is carried out using special stirrers in wear-protected steel cells or tanks
at high solids concentration. Optimum effect is achieved when the ratio of water to solids is reduced to the point
where the slurry is just able to flow while the agitators are running. Adhesive contaminants are loosened from
the particle surface and agglomerates dispersed. The suspended solids can finally be clarified with water.

Feed M M Solution

The attrition scrubber consists of steel cells with

agitators on which 4-6 paddles are mounted on three
levels. The middle paddle level rotates in a different
direction to the other levels.
