Material ledger issue in CKMSTART

Hello CO Experts:

In test server after activating ML and posting few transaction we decided to introduce
group currency in OB22 to check ML functionality of keeping inventory value in more
than one currency, we first deleted ML data we changed client currency and then we
were able to introduce new currency in OB22, CO area setting in OKKP were pre
configured with Group currency but here system is not allowing to change the currency
field to EURO which is the group currency defined in OB22, anyhow i understand the
logic why is system not allowing to change CO area currency because it has transaction
data posted to it, our SAP_APPL release is 617. I am getting this when trying to start
CKMSTART

Cost component structure for period 011 / 2014 in plant 1000 not found

Message no. MLCCS003

I have gone through few notes 584790,512144,408715 but these does not pertain to an
older release of SAP_APPL.

Hello,

In CKM9, under actual cost component settings do you see all the currencies ?

Did you assign currency types to material ledger in OMX2?

Atif,

Instead of this you can choose manual tick and then define individual characteristics such as group currency type in the next
screen.
