INTRODUCTION
: Values and Moral Recovery moral recovery refers to the national
campaign for moral renewal which includes the objectives, strategies, and
cumulative experiences generated in the course of implementing the
Presidential Proclamation.

The program emphasizes that people must have the right values
concerning discipline, hard work, love of country, and a sense of common
good.

A moral is a system of beliefs that is taught for deciding good or bad


whereas Values are personal beliefs or something that comes from within.
Values and moral recovery help to cultivate positive traits such as
compassion, respect, kindness, and humility.

WHAT ARE VALUES ?
Value is a guideline that assists the person to know what is right and what
is wrong, basically, it is individual beliefs that motivate people to act one
way or another They serve as a guide for human behavior.

Generally, people are predisposed to adopt the values that they are raised
with also we tend to believe that those values are “right” because they are
the values of their particular culture.

Our Values determine what we consider to be right, wrong, fair, unfair,


good, or evil. A person’s values are indicative of their character. Therefore,
It Is important to learn the influence as well as the impact of our values
on our decision-making process.
EXAMPLES:
Utilize resources wisely-turning off lights when you
don't need them on any more, conserving water,
cares for the environment - recycling your plastic
bottles instead of throwing them in the bin, planting a
tree,

Stop vandalizing- this is a form of educating people


to stop creating unnecessary drawings in public places
especially in school to show respect for the
guidelines and rules.

WHAT IS MORAL RECOVERY ?
Moral Recovery It is the process of regaining our society’s good moral
character. It is also an activity to restore our welfare which is the root of
our unethical practices.

There’s an executive order here in the Philippines particularize in


citizens’ moral recovery.

It is called the Moral Recovery Program (MRP) The Moral Recovery


Program (MRP) refers to the national campaign for moral renewal which
includes the objectives, strategies, and cumulative experiences generated in
the course of implementing Presidential Proclamation No.62 dated 30 Sept.
1992.
EXAMPLES:
Shouting at someone or insulting someone in a public
place, is an unacceptable act towards to
another person also could bother the people who
are around you.
It also can define you as an ill-educated person
because you have that type of behavior.

CONCLUSION
In conclusion, practicing moral recovery and values would
create a huge impact on individuals. It develops our value of
discipline, as we exercise to live our lives efficiently and
effectively, it also affects the society that we are living in,
with every positive exertion, as this improves our ways of
living. This will build healthier relationships because we are
more considerate of our well-being.
