Setting up your Tag Page on Canada Helps

1. Click on the link provided or type in the below address into the search bar:

2. You will land on the 746 Lightning Hawks Air Cadets Tag Days Homepage. Click on the Create a
Fundraiser
3. You will land on the registration start page.
a. Enter your email address in the field below
i. If you already have a Canada Helps account it will prompt you to enter your
password
ii. If you do not have a Canada Helps account, it will prompt you to create a
password for your account. Note your password cannot contain all numbers.
4. Once you have created your account fill in the remaining fields:
a. Account Type – Personal
b. Company Name – Your rank and name
c. First & Last Name
d. Your Personal Fundraising Page Name – Your rank and name
5. Click Continue

6. You will see a confirmation page that your page is now live, and you will be on your landing
page. Your page has 4 tabs: Welcome, Details, Images & Videos and Donations
Welcome Page
This page helps you with being able to spread the word for your donation requests:

- SHORT URL: this link directs people who are donating to your page. Copy this link and send to
your friends and family members by text, email, or post on your social media page
- Share Across Your Network: use any of the quick links below to launch your social media apps to
post your link to ask for donations
Details Page
This page will show the details of your donation:

- Page Name: this will automatically be loaded with your name

- Goal Amount: each cadet has been set with a goal of $150
- Name of Page Owner: enter your rank and name here
- List of Supporters Option: tick this box if you would like to show your list of supporters
- Email Notification: tick this box if you would like to be notified every time you get a donation
Fundraising Story

The fundraising story has been prepopulated for each cadet for ease of use.

- It is not mandatory to use this verbage. If you would like to highlight your story and time with
the squadron, feel free to update.

Once you have completed filling in your fundraising story click Save. You will see a confirmation that you
have updated your page successfully.
Images & Videos Page
This page will allow to you to add images and videos to your page.

- Featured Image: this has been prepopulated with the 746 Lightning Hawks logo, you are free to
update it with your pictures
- We suggest using your Formal Cadet picture – it adds a nice touch to show your donators who
they are donating to and what they are donating for
To add/change pictures and videos

- To remove the feature image and replace with your own click on the remove button to remove
the existing photo
- To add a picture of your own click Upload an Image and follow the prompts
o Add a caption for your picture if you like
o We suggest naming your pictures so you know which ones are which
- To add a video add the URL, Video title and caption

Once you have added any desired pictures and/or videos click add photo/video on the bottom of the
page.
Images & Videos Page
This page shows the details of all of your donations and how much of your goal your have raised.
Your Page View
Access your page how others will view it on the Details tab. In the Details tab scroll to the bottom and
click on the view button.
