HMCL has three different sets of distribution channel for its new products in addition to the
online platform. There are a set of 900 odd exclusive dealers supported by another 6,000
odd Associate Dealers and Authorised Service Centres. Looking at the changing new age
customer’s needs & aspirations, emergence of e-commerce platforms, and rising costs;
there is a need to relook at the current way of distribution system. The channel format also
needs an overhaul, considering the stricter statutory compliances and emergence of multi-
brand outlets adversely impacting the margins and ROI of the channel partners

You are required to design and develop a New Age Distribution Model for Hero
MotoCorp which should help in increasing reach, ensuring better customer
experience while creating a win-win on financials for all the concerned stake
holders.
