About the Management Trainee Program

The Management Trainee Program at Akasa Air is designed specifically for top talent from premier
management institutes in the country. The Program provides a unique platform to hone your skills and
develop the requisites necessary to become future leaders in the airline industry. The key features of
this program are:
 12-months on-job trainee program to give you exposure in the aviation industry which will enable
you to choose the desired career path that aligns with your interest and passion

 You will be working on projects related to various functions and disciplines, with the opportunity to
work in multi-disciplinary team environments and gain professional experience by engaging with
stakeholders across the aviation industry

 Learning from industry experts with exposure to complex systems and processes
Post successful completion of the Management Trainee Program, you will be aligned with a business
vertical of your interest basis your skills and relevant experience gained during the Program.
The role will be based out of Akasa Air’s corporate office in Mumbai.

Key duties & responsibilities during the Management Trainee Program

 Support various departments on operation and business requirements

 Identify growth levers and opportunities for optimization by leveraging existent and new data
sources as well as techniques

 Drive initiatives relating to performance improvement across the business

 Develop understanding of systems related to passenger bookings, crew scheduling, engine, and
aircraft maintenance planning, etc.

 Required skill set
 Strong quantitative and analytical skills

 Must be able to collect, evaluate and interpret data, in both statistical and narrative form

 Programming knowledge is essential (Java/Python)

 Working knowledge of databases like MySQL is preferred

 Knowledge of operations research through appropriate course will be preferred
