TIPS & TRICKS
In general
• Make sure to read the text AND study the illustrations/photos. They all provide
important information.

• The beads added in the current step are colored brightly. Beads from previous
steps are faded.

• The beginning of the thread path is marked with a dot. Follow the thread from
the dot to the arrow. Work with a comfortable length and leave a tail of 10 -12
cm / 5-6 inches that you’ll secure and trim later.

The type of thread I used to stitch the project is stated in the material list. You
can try switching to a different kind of thread, however, it may not be possible to
• finish the project, or it will provide a different finish. The jewel might be floppier
in case of thinner thread, or it might not be possible to make enough thread path
if you use a thicker one.

About this project

• Buy a full version of this tutorial to make a pair of earrings as well.

• You can add this motif to a bigger piece as a connector.

• Try to play with arrangement of motifs in a bracelet, add a bezeled cabochon or

connect motifs on the other sides.
