* The exact earring studs I used here are from Chinese store, 8season.gift on ebay. You
can use any earrings studs or hooks.
If you want your daisies to be sturdy, use tight tension or you can pass through all the
eight 11/0s base seed beads twice.
I used the path that I thought to be easiest for everyone to follow. There may be more
than one path to achieve the same result. Feel free to play!
Abbreviation
- 11/0 Seed beads color A, white pearl = 11/0A
- 11/0 Seed beads color B, green = 11/0B
- 8/0 Seed beads color A, aqua = 8/0A
- 8/0 Seed beads color B, blue = 8/0B
Instruction
- Cut the thread around 35 inches. Pick up eight 11/0A. Pass through all eight twice.
- Exit at the second 11/0A. (Fig 1) Leave the tail around 3-4 inches. You can weave it
back into your work later.
- Pick up 8/0A.
- Pass through two 11/0A at the opposite side. (Fig 2)
- Pick up 8/0B.
- Pass through two 11/0A at the opposite side. (Fig 5)
- Pick up 11/0B, two 11/0A and 11/0B.
- Pass through two 11/0A just exited.
- Pass through 11/0B and two 11/0A just picked up. (Fig 6)
- Pick up 8/0A.
- Pass through two 11/0A at the opposite side and another two 11/0A. (Fig 8)
- Pick up 8/0B.
- Pass through two 11/0A at the opposite side. (Fig 11)
- Pick up 8/0B.
- Pass through two 11/0A at the opposite side. (Fig 17)
- Pick up 8/0B
- Pass through two 11/0A at the opposite side. (Fig 23)
- Pick up 11/0B.
- Pass through two 11/0A at the first daisy. (Fig 24)
- Pick up 11/0B.
- Pass through two 11/0A and 11/0B.
- Pass through six 11/0A at the first daisy. (Fig 25)
- Pick up 11/0B, two 11/0A and 11/0B.
- Pass through two 11/0A just exited.
- Pass through 11/0B and two 11/0A just picked up. (Fig 26)
- Pick up 8/0A.
- Pass through two 11/0A at the opposite side and another two 11/0A. (Fig 31)
- Pick up 11/0B, two 11/0A and 11/0B.
- Pass through two 11/0A just exited.
- Pass through 11/0B and two 11/0A just picked up. (Fig 32)
- Pick up 11/0B.
- Pass through two 11/0A at the first daisy. (Fig 35)
- Pick up 11/0B
- Pass through two 11/0A. (Fig 36)
- Pass through six 11/0A, 11/0B and five 11/0A. (Fig 37)
- Pick up two 11/0A, earring stud and two 11/0A.
- Pass through two 11/0A. (Fig 38)
- Pass through all beads and earring stud twice or more to secure the earring stud.
- Secure and finish off the thread.
- Make another earring the same way.
